Was craving for bbq and chanced upon this store near Prince Edward.
There was a good variety of food items but we thought it was slightly confusing given a mixture of bbq and western options. However, everything we ordered was really good so we’ll be back for sure!
Thai Pork Burn - Well seasoned and tender. Goes really well with the chilli that they provided.
Eggplant - one of our favourite dishes for the day. Not for you if you’re not a fan of garlic.
Meat skewers - highly recommend the ox tongue which was (mostly) well cooked. A few pieces were slightly chewy but the ones that were done well were heavenly. Does not have any weird odour.
Chilli Hot Snail - medium spice level was a 7/10 spicy. Interesting flavours heavy on Star Anise and other spices. Not cheap but the quantity was pretty substantial. Worth a try but definitely an acquired taste.
Beancurd - simple but oh so good. Great flavours (sweet and spicy) 💯
Quesadilla - crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. 👍🏼

The fourfinger threadfin 馬友 was very juicy with crispy skin, so crispy that the head, tails and fins were edible too. The meat was still very silky and juicy underneath. Well-seasoned. The 辣酒花螺 hot sea snails in wine sauce was very flavorful with lots of Chinese herbs, Sichuan pepper and garlic inside. Quite a lot of MSG though. We also ordered chicken skin which was not on menu which was perfect with beer!
