Poor Customer Service Experience: they rushed everything, even at the expense of safety
I would like to sincerely and objectively share my recent experience with AIR-TIME Zipline Adventure, which I found to be very disappointing. For families with young children or elderly members, I highly recommend considering other companies that offer Zipline services for a safer and more enjoyable experience.
Shouting Instructor: The senior instructor, who appeared to be the leader of the team, constantly shouted at everyone. Despite my ability to effectively use the brake to control my sliding speed(not too fast and not too slow) and safely reach the destination platform, he kept yelling at me to avoid braking and slide all the way through. His yelling even made my 6-year-old daughter cry. It seemed that the instructor did not want customers to control the brake and getting stuck even a bit on the line, which would require him to assist and waste his time. Additionally, our family of seven participated in the last Zipline session of the afternoon, and it appeared they were in a hurry to finish and leave for the day, potentially compromising our safety.
Pushing Customers very hard: The senior instructor pushed my friend's 13-year-old daughter, who is quite thin, with excessive force on her back at the start of her slide. This caused her to spin uncontrollably during the slide, making it difficult for her to maintain balance. She complained about having a very poor experience.
Careless English-Speaking Instructor: There was a short Zipline segment that my 6-year-old daughter had to slide on her own. However, the instructor missed one of the lines while detaching me from my daughter, which was still connecting us. It was only after my prompt that he realized the mistake and detached the line, saying, "Thanks for reminding, it is really important for safety."
Mocking Customers: Upon reaching the final platform, my 9-year-old daughter informed me that the English-speaking instructor had mocked a customer who was not sliding very fast by pointing at him and saying, "He is a weak man."
Overall, it seemed that most of the staff were more focused on quickly pushing each customer down the Zipline, finishing the activity swiftly, and ending their workday. They rushed everything, even at the...
Read moreWe enjoyed this zipline tour with my family (2 adults, 3 kids - 5,11,14 yrs old). We went just a group of us with 2 nice guides - John and Warren who were great and made it fun and very pleasent experience without all that touristic rush around in Arenal. It is probably not the longest one or "best views" trail for zipline (there are some others starting higher in the mountains), but we wanted to spend there up to 2 hours including instructions and we wanted to avoid mass activity in big group. Last but not least it costed 50% of other zipline tours. We booked with Yensi Córdoba (you can find her easily on FB) with even better price than officially directly on their web). Everything was exactly as promissed, in time and well organized. It was together 9 cables, easy for kids as well. Some of them they might "drive" alone, some of them they went together with an adult because of the low weight). I recommend if you're seeking for more private, individual attitude, no rush and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery, very nice and funny guys. Thanks for the great experience! This zipline has 9 zips with 10 platforms. We saw two tucans and ants up on the trees as well. Their equipment looks like brand new and is in very good conditions. The instructions where clear and easy to follow. The best zips where those right over the bushes, trees and small rivers when you were feeling you are rushing through the jungle....
