We visited Zadar for 2 days and were hoping to find a nice place which showcases and sells the works of local artists. LILIPUT us exactly that and more. It has the landmark appearance of a small gallery - restored furniture, stoney interior, nice lighting.
The selection of works is nice as a range and it can fit all budgets. The sales lady is very kind and educated and really helpful when it comes to revealing the background of the artists and navigating through their inspirations and origins.
We bought a couple of postcards, a very nice ceramic fridge magnet, wooden wall art piece and I finally found my dream bracelet for our wedding.

I strongly recommend this place, whether you are buying gifts for friends or for yourself. :-) The actual space of the gallery has a long tradition of creating art since this was the photo studio of brothers Brkan (local photographers recognized and awarded internationally), founded after WWII.

I definitely recommend checking it out: they display a variety of stunning and affordable works from local artists and can tell you a lot about it. I was in absolute awe of the Ana Garžina pieces they have at the moment (Aug. 2024), don’t miss it if you’re in the area!
