Blue Diamond Latchi — Local services in Polis Chrysochous

We took the Blue Diamond cruise out to the Blue Lagoon for a day of snorkeling and sightseeing, and while the setting was undeniably beautiful, the experience itself felt fairly average.

The trip included a standard route out to the lagoon for a swim and snorkel, followed by a return to the harbor. While it delivered what was promised, there wasn’t anything unique or special that set it apart from the many other companies offering the same excursion. It felt very “copy and paste,” and it would be great if the crew added something memorable — whether that’s a bit of local storytelling, refreshments, music variation, or something to make the trip feel more personal.

One standout issue for us was the music. The playlist consisted of loud dance tracks played the entire time, which didn’t suit the overall vibe of the group. This wasn’t a party boat — it was filled with families, couples, and older passengers. The music seemed more in line with the captain’s personal taste, as he was clearly enjoying it, but it didn’t create a comfortable or inclusive atmosphere for the rest of us.

Overall, while the cruise itself was pleasant and the scenery stunning, we think there’s a lot of potential to improve the experience and make it stand out in a crowded market. A more thoughtful approach to the onboard environment could...

A Memorable Experience with Blue Diamond Latchi!

I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Blue Diamond Latchi for an absolutely fantastic trip! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate as much as we had hoped, we still had an incredible time on the cruise and at the breathtaking Blue Lagoon.

The transfer from Paphos was seamless—our ride it was about 1 hour and 20 minutes in a new, comfortable bus, which made the journey enjoyable and stress-free. I felt completely safe throughout the whole experience!

Once we arrived, we were treated to some lovely surprises. After swimming, we were delighted to be offered complimentary wine and fresh fruit from the top bar, which really added a special touch to the day.

My friends requested life jackets, and the staff was incredibly attentive, providing them immediately so we never missed a moment of fun in the water.

The onboard bar had a great selection of delicious cocktails, sandwiches, and donuts, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

I wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone, even in October! Thank you again, Blue Diamond Latchi, for this unforgettable adventure. I know I’ll be back for more!

Everything was as described, the trip was great, and the place was beautiful. I didn’t see the fruit at the beginning, but maybe I missed it. There was a tasting of the cheapest wine, but that wasn’t the main point of the trip.

A big plus was the included transfer from Paphos (the driver played great music with a summer vibe). The trip was outside the peak season—there were quite a lot of people, but I didn’t feel overcrowded. For the guaranteed attractions, the price was very good—35 euros per person.

The music and the crew’s vibe on the boat were fantastic. The waterslide was great, and I even had the impression that it was better than on other boats.

The biggest downside was the overwhelming presence of cigarettes and smoke. In my opinion, it’s really unfair that I book a trip to enjoy the sea breeze, only to be forced to inhale cigarette smoke. Even the crew smokes like a chimney 🐉, which probably encourages tourists to do the same.

So, if you’re traveling with children or are sensitive to this, be aware that you won’t be able to escape the cigarette smell. I’m not lowering my rating for this, hoping (probably naively) that Blue Diamond will do...
