One of my favorite places in Latchi, once again I had beef carpaccio (on a bed of artichokes), a whole calamari, all excellent (although last time the chef was more salty).

Oysters fin de claire, predictably were worse than usual, but it's December 2, so it's logical.

The 1.5 hour drive from Limassol was well worth it for lunch.

The waiter Giorgos is as good as ever.

I recommend it:)

Ceviche of sea bass — absolutely show-stopping. The presentation alone feels theatrical: delicate slices of silvery bass arranged like a miniature seascape, brightened by citrus that snaps on the first bite. What really stole the show was the surprising parade of flavors — floral, tangy, and faintly herbal — I couldn't pinpoint everything they’d added, but it worked beautifully. Silky fish, crisp finish, and a depth of taste that kept revealing itself as I ate.

Beef tartare on pickled artichokes — an enjoyable pairing. The beef was tender and finely seasoned, the pickled artichokes adding an earthy, slightly acidic backbone that lifted the dish. My only quibble: it could have used a touch more spice and a little extra salt to sing for my palate. That’s a personal preference, though — the concept and execution are solid, and the textures are satisfying.

Royal oysters — disappointingly bland. These arrived with promise but lacked the briny punch I expect from a good oyster. Rather than a clean, saline note there was almost nothing to taste, which was surprising given how lively the other dishes were. Maybe oysters aren’t the house specialty here, or the batch was off; either way, they underperformed compared to what I’ve had elsewhere.

Burger — a very good, homemade burger. No dramatic surprises, no culinary fireworks, but it’s honest and well-made: juicy patty, good bun, comfortable seasoning. If you’re after comfort-food satisfaction rather than a showstopper, this...

DO NOT EAT ANYWHERE ELSE…..WOW !

We hired a boat from latchi which was excellent and needed food for 9 of us. We looked along the front and immediately this restaurant stood out as looking quirky and beautiful.

RESTAURANT LOOK - wow, this place looks the part , really clean and beautifully put together.

GREETING - know one outside trying to usher you in…good sign. Then greeted by a nice chap who warmly sat us down. It was already busy which can be good but not always.

WAITERS - took order with a smile, attentive , seemed decent.

FOOD- we ordered a variety of different dishes, now as a good amateur chef myself and having eaten in high end for most of my life I understand poor to excellent food. As soon as the dishes came up I could see they were not cooked by the average chef or indeed one that just cooks for a job.

The food is simple incredible here…DO NOT go anywhere else in this area, the produce is extremely good , you can taste this , the chefs cooking is 5 star ! fine dining quality but in really good portion sizes. If I was to ever go back to this area I would not eat anywhere else.

If you look at my reviews you will see we have eaten in a variety of different Michellin star restaurants. The chefs here MUST BE LOOKED AFTER ….the restaurant is only as good as the food it serves and these chefs are incredibly good.

Well done guys and girls…please...

If you want 5 star service, this place will give you 6. My partner and I went out looking for a place to dine on Christmas Eve and amazingly, Restomare was open and caught our eye right away. The place itself is beautiful and has clearly had a lot of thought, love and care put into it. The staff there are so pleasant and attentive providing an excellent service that leaves you smiling. We were shown the 'catch of the day' and couldn't resist the grilled barracuda option for our main. I had grilled octopus for my starter which was perfect and an excellent size portion (I've not had octopus this good before), additional compliments to the chef. Also, very quick service. My partner is celiac and so must have gluten free food, the menu's clarity on food allergens made us feel fully reassured on what was safe to choose from. The waiter also made it clear that requirements can be met with some of the unsafe dishes which is always lovely to hear. There's so much more on the menu I wish to come back and try and will gladly do so. But from tonight's experience alone, the words "satisfaction, fulfillment and deliciousness" come to mind without a doubt. Absolutely golden in all areas, the layout, the service and of course, the food. Most definitely will...

The menu at Restomare is a delightful exploration of flavors and textures, highlighting fresh, high-quality ingredients. The black risotto was a standout dish, featuring perfectly cooked rice infused with a rich, savory flavor that was both unique and comforting. The creaminess of the risotto paired beautifully with the subtle sea flavors, making it an unforgettable part of the meal. Another highlight was the burrata, which was fresh and creamy, melting beautifully on the tongue. It was served with a light drizzle of olive oil and some fresh herbs, which enhanced the soft, delicate flavors of the cheese. The sashimi at Restomare was also noteworthy. The fish was impeccably fresh, sliced to perfection, and presented beautifully. Each piece was a testament to the chef’s attention to detail and commitment to quality. Not to forget, the halloumi, a local favorite, was grilled to perfection. It had a lovely crispy exterior with a meltingly soft interior, making it a delightful contrast of textures. Overall, dining at Restomare was a fantastic experience. The ambiance of the restaurant, combined with the attentive service and the exquisite dishes, made it a memorable evening. I would highly recommend Restomare to anyone visiting Lachi, Cyprus

A gem in Cyprus. The menu is extensive and offers original options not found in other restaurants. The flavours were well balanced and well above anything we tried anywhere else in Cyprus. The arancini were very tasty, crunchy on the outside and full of flavor and light on the inside. The seafood soup was made of fresh seafood and full of flavours. The seabass cevice was incredible, the pistachio and peppers adding a wonderful twist. The sushis were fresh and well done. The black ink risotto has an incredible sea flavor, the seafood linguine was perfectly flavored with lots of seafood and the restomate burger was one of the best, full or bacon, egg and delicious brioche bread. When the mains are good, I am usually afraid deserts will not be, but we tried the apple tart and it was a delight, offering a fusion between a tart and a crumble, we topped it with vanilla ice cream and it ended the meal perfectly with a Cyprus coffee. The restaurant atmosphere is top notch, seating is very pleasant. The service was very professional and friendly, many thanks to Konstantinos and his colleagues for this wonderful moment.
