Paradise Balloons — Local services in Luxor City

I booked this as part of my tour, it's such a fun experience! I highly recommend going for the first sunrise hot air balloon ride! it was so much fun and the launch + landing were so smooth for my ride.

I added the $10 extra for some cameraman and photographer to follow me around, the end quality of the pictures and videography are all really questionable. First, they mix all the pictures and video recordings together with other travelers in the same group so it's not a personalized video and felt more like a promotion video at the end, and not really with professional quality. For pictures, they took a bunch of super close up shots and really missed out on the balloons or the surroundings vibe. Lots of pictures with eyes closed and all kinds of weird angles that are just not that good.

If the owners are reading this, I highly recommend that the videographer/photographers take some more training lessons on how to shoot and take nicer pictures.

In the final video, they included a preset 6-7 minutes of the surrounding area and balloons flying, feels like a standard cut they throw into all videos to make it longer. Not a fan and was really not impressed by the style or content that was captured or included. Would rather not have that part that I'd have to cut out manually. Could be included in the shared folder separately for anyone who likes to see it, but please leave it off the guest video! It really doesn't add to it.

It's still kinda fun to have people follow you around like you're a celebrity but just a bit disappointed in the overall quality of the final...

It didn’t start off too well because the rep from Paradise Balloons wasn’t punctual. He made us wait for 40 minutes at our hotel lobby. Then we were rushed to join other customers of the company. At this point, one of their tour operators said to other groups waiting on the boat that we were all late because “the Chinese people are late”. It wasn’t thoughtful, disrespectful, and unprofessional. So my sister informed him that we waited 40 mn for the pick up at our hotel, and we are not Chinese but Thai. Then after crossing the bank, we were hurried to get on the balloon. Had to wait a bit for the hot air balloon to float. The flight was very good. The pilot was hilarious and local ground staff dedicated to their job. Another let down is they tried to squeeze 4 people in one small compartment of the balloon. We had to share our space with other traveller and couldn’t move around at...

I joined a hot air balloon ride with Paradise Balloon on 2025/2/28, and it was truly one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. The staff were punctual with pick-up and drop-off, and every part of the process was incredibly smooth. The pre-flight briefing was thorough, and our pilot, Ahmed, was exceptionally skilled — both takeoff and landing were very steady, and he even took us to the highest altitude possible. The logistics arranged by the business department were also very well managed. On the return trip, I was grouped with cruise ship passengers for the shuttle ride, and I was amazed that the team remembered each passenger’s accommodation — such impressive attention to detail! This company is dedicated to providing travelers with a safe and unique hot air balloon experience, with great care given to every step of the process. I highly recommend it...
