Our experience with Sindbad Hot Air Balloons was absolutely magnificent. Our horse and buggy driver took us to the office in town where we paid $60 USD before sunrise if after sunrise price is $30 USD. We paid two days before we went only paid half at the time since we wanted to make sure it was a legit company which it is very reputable! Our representative picked us up at our hotel at 4:30 am we drove straight to the sight about a 25 minute drive. In the morning it’s relatively fresh so bring a jacket to start so you are not cold. The crew started to get things prepped before 6 am. They have to always make sure that the weather is cooperative! There are bathrooms on sight 20 Egyptian pounds plus a spot to have tea or coffee. There is tons of staff helping with blowing up the hot air balloon. There is tons crew on the ground also comes back to help when you land. Our pilot was amazing explaining everything in the air where we were located. I quite enjoyed the ride which was 30-40 minutes, so many pictures were taken we had about four people per box held 32 people! I would definitely fly with them again any day! I would say tipping the ground crew would be a nice gesture to do since they all work so hard to get it up and take it down! If every couple even did 100 Egyptian pounds it’s worth it for them. Our flight over the Valley of the Kings was INCREDIBLE!! The operation ran smoothly from start to finish. We were picked up promptly at 4:50AM. We were then taken to the speedboats which took us over the Nile to the West Bank. We were also on the first flight of the morning which allowed us to be done and on the ground by 7:15AM. This was my first ever hot air balloon ride and it did not disappoint!! Sinbad Hot Air Balloons truly made the experience exhilarating, exciting, and safe.
