Lovely little market. We went to both nice and Antibes market and I can say Antibes market is much nicer and lots of gifts to buy. We bought some lovely lavender jam from an older man who makes all his jam and labels, he had testers at the front which was lovely as we got a chance to taste his lovely jams and honeys. We also got some dried lavender and some herbs from another stall where the woman was very helpful. Fresh fruit and baked goods being sold and lots of cute little cafes nearby which is very convenient. I definitely want to revisit Antibes in the future and look forward to visiting the market once again. Also on Sundays the market is even busier as there are locals selling more things as well as a second hand market around the corner on a Sunday. The market is on every morning which is great as it has all the fresh ingredients...

Traditional market in Antibes old town and one of the most popular ones in the region. For that you need to get there really early before the tourists hit the place and browsing through becomes almost impossible. The stalls are selling a wide variety of fresh products like meats, cheese, olives, vegetables, spices, herbs and fruit but also local specialties like lavender honey. There’s nothing like buying all these delicacies along with a freshly baked baguette from a local boulangerie and enjoying it for lunch overlooking the sea. A truly vibrant place for highest quality food. But you can also buy some crafts, pottery and souvenirs. The local tomatoes, figs and green Reine Claude plums are one of the best! In the afternoon the stalls disappear and the restaurants located along the market side place their outside...

A visit to the Marché provençal is essential when in Antibes. This bustling morning market offers a delightful array of food items, including fresh fruit, sausages, cheeses, and spices, not to mention an impressive selection of fish and seafood. On Thursdays, the market continues into the afternoon with additional offerings such as paintings and crafts. Surrounding the market are charming cafes and restaurants, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely morning stroll, complete with a croissant, coffee, and some grocery shopping.

Just a walking distance from the Antibes Cathedral to marché provençal. This local farmers market has a wide range varieties of local produce such as; fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy products, dried flowers, seasonings and herbs, seasonal fruits, cured meats, different sauces, honey, flowers, pizza, and soap. Local vendors are approachable just ask them if they speak and understand English, cause some of them can speak English fluently. But if you like me who’s newbie here, pointing out and sign language..does work well too Lol.
