JOE & THE JUICE — Restaurant in Nice

I had a very disappointing experience at Joe & The Juice in Nice Airport Terminal 1. I ordered through the QR code on the table, but after waiting 15 minutes with no updates, I asked about my order. The staff first told me to wait in line, then later a lady who seemed to be in charge rudely told me that she never received my order and insisted I must have ordered at Terminal 2. She didn’t even bother to properly check before dismissing me.

You need to put the Terminal number on your online receipts, so there is no confusion!

After I insisted several times that I had ordered at Terminal 1, she finally accepted it and prepared the order, but in a very unfriendly manner. She didn’t call my name when it was ready, forgot to give me a spoon, and when I asked, she handed it to me roughly without a word.

Throughout the entire experience, no one apologized for the delay, no one checked on me while I waited, and the overall service was unprofessional and rude. For an airport location, where people are already stressed and in a hurry, this kind of treatment is unacceptable. The staff clearly need proper customer service training. The Qr code system should be updated! They should also clean the tables and empty the trash bins.

Definitely not...

I came here on 26/10/24 and I got a spicy tuna sandwich. Please see the photo, it came half empty and had very little tuna compared to the ones I’ve had at other branches. Half of the sandwich was just bread.

To resolve the issue, I went back and showed a lady named Oceane that the sandwich was empty. She completely dismissed me and kept repeating ‘there is two scoops there is two scoops’ and pointed to where there was some in the middle of the sandwich. I then said that I don’t think there should be parts with completely no tuna as seen on the photo, she completely ignored me, started to serve another customer and did not make any effort to address my issues. For 10€ per sandwich, this was unacceptable.

Moreover, behind the till, a few of the staff were coughing on their hands and then touching the drinks/food which was concerning.

The service here is very poor, the staff are unhelpful, and the food is poorly made. I would not recommend...

I would give no stars if I could. Absolutely horrific service. I waited for 45mins for 2 sandwiches and a coffee. They then gave me 2 tuna sandwiches when I ordered 2 chicken and they proceeded to tell me I was wrong and it was chicken when I said I'm allergic to fish so I can't eat they only then they checked my order and said oh someone took your order we will have to make you another one, another 15 minutes later for that, food was horrible. Staff very rude, loads of them there but no order at all, rolling their eyes at upset customers. Cappaichino took 40mins. No one calling out orders so customers were just taking whatever was on the counter as they were waiting so long it was absolutely chaos. Staff need alot of education on work etiquette and how to speak to customers. It was also extremely expensive 34 euro for coffee, 2 sandwiches and a juice. Very disappointing would not...
