My Apartment in Paris — Local services in Paris

My family and I enjoyed a lovely stay in Paris in mid-April. The three bedroom apartment in the heart of Paris (metro: St. Placide) was a perfect location! The apartment was on the fifth floor and the tiny elevator worked perfectly. We had two full bathrooms! The bedrooms were all nice size with very comfortable beds and great natural light. The living room was spacious and sunlit. We enjoyed fresh croissants and baguettes every day from our local boulangerie, delicious fruit and veg from another local store and a mom/pop grocery that had everything we needed for our stay. All of this, plus good shopping and cafes within ½ a block from our front door. The My Apartment in Paris staff was terrific! We arrived on Easter Sunday and had a large delay due to lost luggage and then more delays due to street closures. Eleonora was perfectly patient and supportive and was there at the apartment to greet us when we finally arrived. She explained everything to us in great detail and let us know to just call the team if we needed anything. We had a great time and would definitely work with the My Apartment in Paris team the next time we stay in Paris. I would gladly recommend their service to anyone. Review of apt at 48 Rue du Montparnasse: We stayed one month is this lovely apartment & it was a perfect blend of a quiet location in the back of the building with shops & cafes at your door front. The living room/dining area was spacious & comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen. The modern bathroom & shower was also a plus. The bedrooms are on either end of the unit which also offers privacy. The best feature for us was the large terrace! We spent lovely mornings & evenings sitting outside listening to the birds & enjoying the views of the gardens & rooftops - it was quite magical and a plus to each morning & evening after a long, busy day walking in Paris. One cautionary note: the bedroom next to the terrace gets quite warm so be sure to close the curtains before your leave for the day. It cools off quickly once you open the large terrace doors. It was also a pleasure to work with the owner who was accessible & prompt in helping us with questions. The young women who met us at our arrival and departure were also a pleasure to work with. The building itself is quiet & safe too. I hope we'll be able to return here for another magical stay in Paris. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Pre-arranged meet-up time and logistics were perfect, and it was so nice to have a personalized orientation by Safya at the flat. Roomy apartment with great living room, kitchen, dining room and bedrooms. You can really “live” here! Very inviting, and a relief to return to after intensive sight-seeing days. Comfortable bed and linens. Wonderful location as well. I would caution folks about a couple of things - the toilet is located in a small closet-like space on the opposite side of the flat from the bathroom. The bedroom we used - the “master” - is arranged so that the roomy and comfortable bed is up against the wall on the one side which always makes it challenging to place your glasses, book, watch etc gear at night.
