Confit de canard for me, which was pretty good. Not the best I’ve had but certainly would give it four stars if that’s all we ate. What was troublesome was the waiter recommendation to my wife. Paillard de poulet - was basically dry chicken in stale butter. It came out in less than 5 minutes so it had to be re-warmed from earlier. We noticed it’s the featured photo on the website but it looked nothing like that, which confirms that little care was taken in the preparation. There are much better brasseries around the area. We ordered two dishes: the Angus Flank Steak (with fries) and the Roasted Cod (served on a bed of asparagus). The steak was tender, juicy, and paired with a flavorful sauce — definitely a winner, even though the fries themselves were fairly average. The cod was also well-prepared and very tasty.
The bill came to €67 for two entrées, plus juice and water (no alcohol or dessert), which felt fair given the quality. With a broad menu beyond what we tried, we’d be happy to return to...
