What a lovely location and friendly staff.

PROS: Location: Luxembourg gardens right out your door. Quiet neighborhood compared to many others in Paris. Lovely cafés and shops near by- HOWEVER- more than half were closed due to the August vacation month for Parisians. Metros are 7-10 minute walk away. Staff/Breakfast/bar: Lovely and friendly staff. Because most of the neighborhood cafes were closed, we ate breakfast at the hotel (thank goodness for that!) and the attendant was as lovely as can be! She was our favorite part! Bottomless café/coffee, eggs, bacon, some fresh fruit, yoghurt, nuts, breads available. It was worth the 20€ price tag for the convenience and lovely staff. There was also an honor bar available in the afternoons and evenings with beer, wine, liquor. Water bottle: The hotel provided a free glass bottle to refill at their drinking water station whenever. Lovely amenity during the hot summer days Views: We had room 305- superior room- on the 3rd floor and had the corner of Rue du Fleurus and Rue Madam. We could see Luxembourg larger entrance from our windows and across the street at the lovely hotel. Elevator: Was lovely to have to option to take the elevator after a day of shopping instead of taking the stairs

CONS Room: The superior room (2nd smallest) 305 was very small- even by European standards. We just had enough room for our two bags and to walk around the bed. Bathroom: The bathroom had no ventilation and a frosted glass door. The toilet shared the same wall as the head of the bed- so if you were laying in bed you could hear your roommate going to the bathroom behind your head. Not much privacy. The shower with large shower head spilled out of the door and the wall had water damage that had not been repaired. It looked bad. Sound: Bring ear plugs :)Sounds from the street could be heard but the sounds from the upstairs rooms above - we heard every footstep above us-and doors closing were very loud (heavy room doors that slam). You could hear people talking in the room next door and going up and down the stairs. This is part of staying in an older building yes- but for $270 US/night we expected better (& those were when the rooms were on sale).

We would not stay here again unless perhaps it was a larger room/suite - we could see from the outside the very top of the hotel seemed to have rooms with balconies- so perhaps the more expensive rooms are nicer and larger and less noisy since...

Such a wonderful, cozy hotel and warm, friendly staff! Everyone working here was so great. The ambiance of the hotel is so nice. It is cute, cozy and quaint. It feels like you’re staying in a home. Tastefully decorated.

Our room didn’t even feel that small. It was cozy and everything worked. I feel like I’ve had so many experiences at other hotels where I’ve had issues with key cards, noise, heat, etc… but everything here was great. Straightforward and worked well.

But like most places nowadays, they don’t provide conditioner. It would be a nice bonus if they did, and lotion too. It would make it that much better value for us girls!

The breakfast is nice and has a good variety. The staff who works the breakfast is always attentive and asks if you want a coffee or tea. And even though this is something small, having the water dispenser in the lobby is such a great amenity! Everywhere should have this. Having fresh water on hand (sparkling or still) anytime was something I greatly appreciated.

The hotel is actually in a great little neighborhood, there are a decent amount of restaurants, cafes and pastry shops nearby. A bit of a walk to some main sights, but not too bad if you like walking and want to be tucked away from main tourist areas. The hotel is also right nearby the entrance to the gardens! I wish there was more of a view/rooftop but you can’t really change the building. The option for the steam room is nice when spending the money to stay here. Also, everything was very very clean, no smells or fragrances in the hotel which was SO nice. The beds/towels were nice and clean and the rooms were fresh.

Overall 10/10! We had a great time here, and loved chatting with the staff! We...

A Perfect Parisian Escape – Bonsoir Madame Exceeded Every Expectation

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bonsoir Madame during our visit to Paris, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special.

Tucked away on a quiet street near the Luxembourg Gardens, the location is absolutely ideal—peaceful, charming, and yet just steps away from the vibrant heart of the city. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, effortlessly combining Parisian elegance with modern comfort. Every detail, from the tasteful décor to the cozy lounge spaces, felt curated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The staff were exceptional—genuinely kind, attentive, and always eager to help with a smile. Whether it was offering dining recommendations, helping us plan our days, or simply sharing a friendly greeting, their service made us feel truly cared for.

Our room was spotless, stylish, and wonderfully quiet, with a bed so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. The thoughtful touches—from the luxurious linens to the high-quality toiletries—made all the difference. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with fresh pastries, fruit, and excellent coffee to start the day right.

What really set Bonsoir Madame apart, though, was the feeling that we were not just guests, but welcomed friends. This hotel has heart—and it made our time in Paris not just enjoyable, but memorable.

We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone seeking an intimate, beautifully run boutique hotel in Paris. Thank you, Bonsoir Madame, for a truly...

I stayed at the Bonsoir Madame Hotel for one week, from monday to sunday in the first week of February and I absolutely loved the place. I had already visited Paris several other times and I always prefer to stay at the 6th Arrondissement (Saint Germain des Pres) and while searching the Internet for a new hotel, I found the Bonsoir Madame and I simply stopped my searches and booked it immediately. It is in a perfect location, literally just two steps from Jardin du Luxembourg. And it is at a walking distance from most points of interest in Paris. There are also at least three metro stations near the hotel, if you need to go to more distant places. The street where the hotel is located (Rue Madame) is a calm, safe and silent street. I stayed in room 303, with blue decoration, facing the said street, and my sleep was never disturbed. I was alone, but the room was spacious even for two people. The hotel and room decorations are very elegant and spotless and clean. The box shower is very spacious too and I have never had a better shower while traveling. Excellent and delicious buffet breakfast. The staff were very polite and helpful. I absolutely enjoyed and loved my stay at Bonsoir Madame and it is now my new “home away from home” in Paris. I hope to come back again soon.
