I see so much good reviews , maybe today I was just unlucky. So I entered the cafe at 2:45 pm(14:45) and a couple of staff were standing right in front of me-no reaction, didn’t even say hi. After a couple of minutes with absolutely no enthusiasm and no “sorry” I was told that the kitchen is closed. At 2:45????? When you claim this location is opened until 6pm, come on! I still wanted to sit down because they said I could make a last order. So, they gave me a menu informing that almost all of it is sold out. The avocado toast is everywhere: on the website menu, on their insta page-they told me they don’t do avocado toast. The waiter was standing by me pressuring and offering me to order a couple of sandwiches on the menu. The menu is also in French, so I needed some time to decide and he was standing there clearly waiting to wrap up this last order already. Very unpleasant experience. They need to make sure they provide accurate time info and menu info to their customers. I told them I will go somewhere else. Very lazy staff who don’t care about...

When ordering, I asked the waitress what was inside one of the 3 sandwiches in the menu and she didn’t know (literally 3 sandwiches, I guess you can memorise the ingredients), she said she would check with the kitchen and let me know, but she never did. I ask for the wifi password and the waitress doesn’t give it to me saying that I cannot use my laptop as it is public holiday (Monday), I explain to her that I went there to work and I had urgent things to do, and I didn’t know it was not possible to use the laptop. I had already received part of my order so I couldn’t leave. At that point I quickly finish my plate and go inside to pay. I ask them whether they had written somewhere that it is not possible to work in the bar, and they say “yes” indicating a tiny post-it on the coffee machine which was basically impossible to read and was saying “No laptop on weekends”. I ordered one cappuccino and one salmon bun which were nothing special, waitresses were not kind at all. Wouldn’t recommend it, it’s full of other nice cafes...

The three of us visited this café two days ago, and it was a disappointing experience! First, the air inside was stuffy, and the windows were completely fogged up, making it impossible to see outside. Most of the tables were for two people, so they added an extra chair to our table, but it was cramped and very uncomfortable! We ordered a cappuccino, an Americano, and two grilled brioche with butter and jam, but they completely forgot our coffees and never brought them! And it wasn’t even that busy. After finishing our brioche, we got up to leave and mentioned that they had forgotten our coffee. They just gave a quick and not-so-friendly apology and moved on. When it was time to pay, even though I had already told them that they never brought our cappuccino and Americano, they still charged us for the Americano. When I questioned the total, they claimed they thought we had received it—even though there wasn’t a single empty cup...

Experience Paris like a local and uncover the hidden gems that tourists often miss! 💃🏻 1. Soak Up the Sun 🌞 The French have an undeniable love for sunshine and beaches. In the summer, wherever there's a coastline in Europe, you'll find French people packed like sardines. The artificial beaches along the Seine are always bustling, and those who can't snag a spot head to the parks. ⛲️ A bottle of wine, a piece of cheese, and a book are the essentials for a French picnic in the park. For visitors, consider grabbing a Mont Blanc pastry from Angelina, then lounging in the Jardin des Tuileries or sprawling on the grass at Champ-de-Mars while gazing at the Eiffel Tower. 📍Jardin des Tuileries; Jardin du Luxembourg; Champ-de-Mars; or any other grassy spot. 2. Wander the Streets Shun the tourist-packed attractions and aimlessly stroll through Paris's streets—this is my favorite way to experience the city. You might stumble upon a delightful pastry shop or a charming street, where you can while away the hours. 📍1- Passage Lhomme 2- Pigalle Basketball 3- Rue Cremieux 4- Au vieux Paris d’Arcole 5- Le mur des je t’aime 6- Rue du Calvaire 3. Indulge in Brunch 🍽 Waking up naturally and enjoying a leisurely brunch—what better epitomizes the Parisian pace? I tried two brunch spots this time, neither overly trendy but both simple yet thoughtfully designed, and both highly recommended. 📍1- Baguett’s Café. 2- Strada café 4. Follow in the Footsteps of "Midnight in Paris" Along the Seine 🗼 📍From Avenue de New York to Quai des Tuileries

A friendly and welcoming atmosphere with superb food and drinks! I got Jus de Jour (juice of the day). I'm not quite sure what kind of juice it was but it tasted excellent 🤩 On the side, I shared a piece of brownie banana cake with my girlfriend. It was fantastic! 🤤 My girlfriend had a cold brew coffee. Being a coffee snob she has found it hard to find good coffee in Paris, but she particularly liked the one she had here ☕️ The staff were really friendly. Whenever we weren't able to express ourselves in (our limited) French, they'd switch to English, which we really appreciated—we were just in Paris for a limited amount of time. The general volume from people speaking was a tad high inside the café so that is something that might not be for everyone. If one is sensitive to sound one can try to avoid peak times or opt for the outdoor seating. We both warmly recommend Strada Café to any café lovers out there ❤️
