I stumbled upon this charming little bakery in Paris because it was on the corner of an apartment I rented for a few months over the summer and it instantly became the highlight of my culinary experiences on this trip! Right on the corner of Rue Monge intersection of Rue Cardinale Lemoine in the Latin Quarter, the doors open and it exudes warmth and authenticity, with the aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries just drawing you in.
Every morning, I made it a ritual to stop by and indulge. From their buttery, flaky croissants that melt in your mouth to their divine pain au chocolat, every bite was pure perfection. Oh, and for lunch, I cannot forget about their delicious pre-made sandwiches which are made on their award winning baguette!
The staff was incredibly friendly, greeting me with smiles and making me feel like a local despite my tourist roots. The magician herself Ana, who is the pastry chef, would come out to say hello to customers from time to time also. The attention to detail here by everyone and the passion for their craft were evident in everything on their menu.
The delightful treats made each visit a memorable experience. If you're ever in Paris, do yourself a favor and visit this bakeryâI promise, itâll make your trip...
Read moreThis is by far the best boulangerie in the 5th and definitely one of the best in all of Paris. My husband and I spent 2 months in this neighborhood over the summer and came back right before Christmas. This was our first and last stop of every trip. We frequented the boulangerie everyday and some days even two times a day. The baguettes are to die for and the staff is beyond amazing! The owner Alexandra was incredible to us, especially to our pup Millie! Millie knew every time she walked in a little treat would be waiting for her! We would bring back baguettes and sweets for ourselves and family every visit. I Cannot recommend...

For sandwiches and sweets. The staff was very kind and did their very best to work with my terrible French. As has been stated in other reviews, those eclairs are to die for. We brought some macarons back to the states with us and they packaged everything so nicely as we told them we were talking them on the plane. Again, amazing pastry and very...
