VERY RUDE STAFF AND MANAGER - AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! It seems you have to be a "local guide" to rate this place - perhaps it is difficult to be impartial if you are neighbours? We experienced disgraceful behaviour from the staff here, as others clearly have if you read reviews by anyone who is not a "local guide". My children went to pay for their lunch at the bar - they do not speak much French and we are trying to encourage them to be more adventurous. Unfortunately, this was not the place to do it. We went here with another family who purchased a Coca-Cola for their child. My children were asked to pay for that drink in French even though it had already been paid for by the child's father. The lady behind the bar got angry with young children who didn't understand her demands for payment, even though she speaks perfectly good English and could have explained it to them. I was called over by my children eventually who were flustered and upset by the experience and when I asked her what was wrong, she practically shouted about a "Coca-Cola OVER THERE!", which I also didn't understand as none of my family had ordered one. She then got angry and took my payment for the food but was extremely rude to both my young children and me. The manager came over to the table later and was angry - he demanded payment for the drink (WHICH HAD BEEN PAID FOR) and said "We had a problem in the week with ice-creams being taken" - he seemed to think we had been before - NOPE - never before - never again!!! Don't go here! Especially with children - the man is probably crazy, certainly nasty and the waitress is bigoted - it seemed to me she didn't like English people. She attempted a clumsy apology much later on (obviously she had checked the till receipts by then!) and the cowardly manager did not appear to apologise for essentially accusing us of theft! 2025- What a difference a year makes. Rude staff, reduced menu options. We left after 5 mins when the seconds waitress was just as rude as the first. Such a shame as it was a lovely experience in 2024. Cannot now recommend.

2024 - Great food and fantastic service. Staff are bilingual and help when your French runs out. The ordering is a bit like Nando’s in the UK. Look at the menu, complete the form and hand in at bar. As stated on the form. Witnessed some entitled and rude customers who were frustrated by this way...

Malgré le nom de restaurant, il s’aigrit plus d’un snack. Il est idéalement situé, au bord du lac des écoles, sur la fin des pistes de vélos/ ski près d’un parking et du village.

Le snack possède une trentaine de table ainsi que des transats ce qui permet d’accueillir du monde et de fait, ne prend pas de réservation le midi. Le sytème de bon de commande permet de fluidifier l’attente car malheureusement il n’y a qu’une seule caisse, pour ceux qui prennent sur place ou à emporter, sur les moments de pointes (12h30-13h ou 16/17h la queue peux donc être un peu longue)

Au niveau alimentaire, les sandwiches les salades et les burgers sont fait maisons du matin ou de la veille. Le reste est tout de même bon et visiblement très apprécié (la vitrine était vide lors de mon passage).

Le snack ouvre en mode restaurant 3 soirs par semaines sur réservation, 30 couverts maximum et propose un plat unique à 22€ qui varie (Paella, grillade, Gambas….)
