L’As des Neiges & Le Comptoir — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

We came to this place following Michelin Bib Gourmand recommendation but it even doesn't deserve to be any ordinary restaurant of some town. The food is tasteless. Pierrad beef served raw on a stone barely warm. Once asked to reheat, the meat came back on hot stone already dry. The meat both lamb and beef was tastless. Waitress was careless. We had to go to them to ask for bread after waved many times. The water has to be asked twice. The kid menu is a mini raclette over cooked and the desert was even forgotten but we paid it full. When we asked for a white wine to go with starter, the waitress came with a glass named chardonnay without any additional information. We had to ask it again the 2nd time..she seemed to be so proud that it was good choice but still only told us it's from languedoc. The same wine glass was used when it was back from kitchen. Some table were given suggestions on small black board but we didn't have. The open kitchen showing how they cook. One personel picked his nose many times. We will report it to Michelin. It is really confusing to see the overall high rating for the place compared to my experience. Based on trying only pizzas I give the place a 3, a genuine combination of the experience of my daughter (6) who was super happy with her margherita, and I who was upset with mine (chorizo). It is a bit hard to explain but I barely felt any taste, the dough felt dry and the pizza was kind of tasteless despite the ok colors. The service was fast and the pricing reasonable though. CATASTROPHIQUE!!! Dommage qu'on ne puisse pas mettre 0! Nous arrivons à 20h45 pour 3 pers avec enfant de -6ans. On nous installe assez vite. 21h le serveur prend notre commande boissons et 3 pizza. Et là.....le néant.....nous sommes à table sans même recevoir les boissons....avec un enfant c est d'autant plus long. 21h30 les boissons arrive enfin, déjà 45min se sont écouler. Agacé par cette attente, je demande si les pizza vont arriver, car on attend depuis 45min. On m annonce qu'elles vont être préparés et arriverons d'ici 10min.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ 21h50 les pizza arrive enfin!!! Pas de chance nous devons partir pour 22h15. Nous avalons les pizzas en deux temps 3 mouvement, bien sur pas le tps pour un dessert ou café. Les pizza sont pas ouf au passage. Je vous déconseille la pizza roquette car il ne s'agit pas d une pizza garnie avec un peu de roquette dessus, non non, c est une pizza sauce tomate avec dessus un tas de roquette, un peu de jambon et 3 miettes de mozza. Je l'appellerai plutôt pizza de la prairie car mangé de la pâte garni de salade c est très très fade! Et pour couronné le tout, le serveur se trompe et nous facture la pizza enfant au prix adulte, heureusement que j ai vérifié. Bien sur, aucune excuse du serveur ou direction pour l attente. Une sortie...
