We came here tonight after a disappointing evening elsewhere last night. We did not stay in the hotel, we visited the restaurant.
This place was fantastic in contrast, the customer service was great, the waiters and waitresses were lovely, drinks were very nice. The food was amazing . We could only have mains as the portions were very generous we had no space left for dessert. I had the duck 🦆 it was easily the best duck I have ever had. My wife and daughter had the rackets, they loved it and it was the first time trying it with the grill, our youngest kids are fussy but the had the mini steak on the kids menu and ate the lot. So it must have good. Family of 5 and a round of drinks €130 with a free shot of spiced rum when we settled the bill.
Great place, this is a must visit restaurant when in morzine. You can tell these guys care, from the kitchen to the bar staff they are on point...
Read moreSometimes, things just align, and that's exactly what happened with our visit to La Grange. We found ourselves caught in a proper downpour, desperately in need of somewhere warm and welcoming to eat, and they absolutely came through, fitting us in last minute, despite having to close their outside dining area.

Service was also good. They were attentive and efficient, especially considering how busy they must have been to squeeze us in on such a rainy evening.
Overall, La Grange was exactly what we needed that evening – a warm, inviting spot with good food and...
Read moreVery disappointing Christmas day meal. Were told when we booked, that there would be no pork in the meal - however, there was bacon was on the underside of the gratin - No comment when we mentioned it to the waitress. Secondly the restaurant was unbearably, ridiculously hot - I was wearing a relatively lightweight shirt. It must have been around 30 degrees and more worryingly in covid times, with zero fresh air making it difficult to find your breath - far too stuffy which took any enjoyment away and I went and stood outside 3 times! Definitely requires 'a lot more' ventilation especially as we are in Covid times. The table of 4 next to us asked if windows could be opened, and we also commented separately, but were told there wasn't any! If you do decide to eat here then I suggest requesting a table near the front door. Do not sit at the rear of...
