So.....it used to be great and it is still kind of nice, I like the event, don't get me wrong, but organisation is getting worse and worse. So I went to chess and jazz event today, but there was suddenly 10 euro entrance. NO INFO on their website and they deleted Telegram channel (instead they are on Discord🤦🏻). When I spoke to the organizer, he said info is on Instagram account (yeah, but to be able to view it, you need Instagram account). Then he just said "sorry", but one could see he couldn't care less. So that's how they now treat people who were really supportive of chess and jazz. Sadly, I have no other choice but to give one star (such behaviour towards its fans is simply unacceptable).UPDATE: One can't not react to answer, so I am doing this update as a form of answer. WOW! Never was and never will. It seems like the only one who is disrespecting peoples' time (I could have gone to a different venue had I known it will be paid chess and jazz on Friday), freedom to chose (still arrogantly suggesting to install spyware called Instagram) and even to freedom to decide what to do (your attempt to decide who can and who can not attend.) This decision will be made by me and I have a plenty of time till February to decide whether I will ignore your venues in future or for the sake of nice people and nice experience I will attend. I will NOT do another update after this, so the case is closed on...
Read moreMagnificent event series! I love jazz and I love chess although I'm not great at it. Best of both worlds. The organizers have truly succeeded in creating a cozy event with a sense of community amongst people with all different levels of chess, where people are open to playing and chatting with new opponents. Super friendly and chill atmosphere. The live jazz was great and so was the jazz...
