My Disappointing Sephora Dresden Visits N○2
I've been to Sephora Dresden twice now, and both visits left me feeling judged rather than valued:
First Visit: I was told I couldn’t bring my coffee inside. I was simply forced to leave it behind, and I would probably understand that rule for a clothing store but not for a cosmetic store ...sorry...is ridiculous!
Second Visit: An employee immediately offered me a shopping basket. And since i have seen a video about that, that this is often a subtle signal used when staff suspect you might steal. That assumption, based purely on nothing—was humiliating and made me feel unwelcome.
And this sales lady was really not in position to judge who steal on my opinion!
However there was a second girl that genuinely offered me help and unfortunately I was already pist and probably bit more mean with her , so really sorry about that! She was very kind actually!

From the moment we entered, the anti-theft system was squeaking non-stop—even as customers were simply walking in. But the real issue started when my friend and I decided to leave. Despite wearing just jeans, t-shirts, and carrying tiny bags (leaving no realistic space to hide products), two security men stopped us and conducted a full search.
For 10 minutes, they thoroughly checked our small bags multiple times, as if we were criminals, rather than realizing the problem was with their malfunctioning system. Meanwhile, a nearby consultant just stood there, watching everything unfold without stepping in. Only when I started to express frustration at this ridiculous situation did another consultant finally try to de-escalate.
The worst part? No one even apologized.
This is an unacceptable way to treat paying customers, especially at a newly opened store. After such an experience, my desire to shop here is zero, despite working in the same building. Sephora needs to train their security staff properly—or replace them entirely.
Being wrongly searched and treated like a suspect is not normal and shouldn’t...

My friend has a darker skin tone, which often makes finding the right foundation and powder a real challenge. However, Sophie was absolutely determined and didn't give up until she found a fantastic match that worked perfectly. We were so impressed with her dedication...
