Pizza Hut Restaurant Dresden — Restaurant in Dresden

This is my new favorite Pizza Hut in Germany. At first I was hesitant to even believe in its existence as when I previously tried to look up a Dresden Pizza Hut, it only gave me a closed one in the Elbe-Park shopping center. However, this one is very real.It has a quite modern and welcoming look noticeable as soon as you walk in. The Pizza Hut is placed in a cinema right off the main shopping street. This gives it many advantages. First of all, it's quiet even at busy times of the year and you can find a spot there at basically any point during the year. There appears to be some type of free WiFi, but the instructions for logging in were only in German, but I cannot say it looked that safe to me. I would personally avoid that if you're like me. The restaurant was huge with even the rest room being clean, which is a refreshing change. I had the mozzarella sticks, salami pan pizza and the brownie desert. The mozzarella sticks were lovely . Their crust was soft for the most part with a few mildly tougher spots, but nothing too bad. The inside of the sticks was also incredibly hot. The sticks also came with a large delicious dip. The best part was that there were five of them, which was more than enough. The pizza is about the main course you want to have. The crust is oily fantastic. Despite its smaller size, the normal pan is enough to feed anyone. The topping falls off a little easily so you might want to pick it up carefully. It's also nice how they bring the pizza. It's really hot on this metal plate. This is a cute little touch. The brownie was among the best ones I've had. The ice cream it came with was decent, but I just loved the brownie. It was sprinkled with sugar and chocolate sauce and so warm on the inside I couldn't believe it. It was a little dense, but soft at the same time. There was some confusion as I got the brownie straight after my desert. This means I had to eat the ice cream before the pizza, but I hope that this issue is resolved. Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to specify the order next time. It also took them a mildly longer time to get my Pepsi. I enjoyed their Pepsi. It wasn't the real deal, but they did have free refills. Other than that the whole service was super fast compared to most restaurants I went to. I can definitely recommend this Pizza Hut, particularly as the one closest to Prague. It now takes only an hour and a half to get there,...

Ihr wollt innerhalb Deutschlands amerikanischen Flair erleben? Dann seid ihr im Pizza Hut goldrichtig. Meine Freundin und ich besuchen den Pizza Hut eigentlich regelmäßig, wenn ich sie in Dresden besuche, weil das Essen einfach wirklich lecker ist. Besonders empfehlen kann ich das Classic Knoblauchbrot, den Cucumber Salad (Gurkensalat) die Pan Pizza Salami und die Limonade (Erdbeere, aber die mit Kohlensäure!). Die Portionen sind relativ groß, wenn ihr jetzt nicht gerade am verhungern seid und ihr entscheidet euch für eine Pan Pizza, kann ich euch empfehlen: nehmt die kleinste Größe, ihr werdet nicht glauben, wie krass satt man bereits danach ist. Was man wissen sollte: das Essen bei Pizza Hut ist insgesamt sehr fettig (deutlich fettiger, als man das bei Pizza ohnehin schon vermuten würde). Meist liegt es einem dann noch Stunden später ziemlich schwer im Magen, aber es ist halt geil - und klassisch amerikanisch. Man darf es halt nicht zu oft konsumieren.

Im Pizza Hut läuft in der Regel im Hintergrund Musik aus vielen verschiedenen Genres (außer Metal, Hardrock), etwas was auch bei gewöhnlichen Radiosendern laufen würde. Die Lautstärke ist völlig in Ordnung und stört überhaupt nicht. Als Ort für ein Date würde ich das Pizza Hut eher nicht empfehlen. Es ist nicht gemütlich und man hat keine wirklichen Ecken für romantische, intime Gespräche, da die Tische relativ dicht bei dicht stehen. Die Tische sind übrigens relativ klein, wenn 3 Leute bestellen, wird es vom Platz her manchmal durchaus schon ein bisschen knapp.

Die Kellner sind in der Regel sehr gut gelaunt und freundlich. Bis das Essen da ist, dauert es allerdings teilweise eine ganze Weile. Das liegt meines Erachtens aber hauptsächlich daran, dass sie einfach extrem gut besucht sind in der Regel und sich sowohl um Innen-, als auch Außenbereich kümmern müssen. Die Toilettentür geht ein bisschen schwer, aber ist super sauber und ein toller Bonus zu den meisten anderen öffentlichen Toiletten: es gibt warmes Wasser zum Hände abwaschen und einen wunderschön leuchtenden Wasserhahn, der farblich anzeigt, wie warm das Wasser gerade eingestellt ist.

Letzter Hinweis: der Pizza Hut ist ziemlich teuer. Für ein normales Menü (Pizza, Getränk) muss man schon mit 20,00 € aufwärts rechnen. Dips kosten extra. Insgesamt lässt sich sagen: kann man durchaus machen, wenn man amerikanisches Fastfood mag, kommt man auf alle Fälle auf seine Kosten und geht auf gar keinen Fall hungrig aus dem Restaurant wieder raus. I had the BEST pan pizza here two weeks ago. That should say enough that it’s been two weeks and I’m still thinking about how amazing the crust was, but what really got me to leave this review was the excellent service I received while dining in the restaurant. I can’t remember the name of the young man who was serving us (I think he is called Georgie) but I was blown away at the level of service he provided. He check on us several times during our visit and this is something I am not used to seeing in Germany. Top tier “American style” customer service.
