Tourist POV: Very loud and crowded but this is to be expected. Lots of fruit and veg stalls which are beautiful but not that relevant for tourists. Lots of honeys and olive oil as well but not necessarily cheeper than off the market - bartering may be necessary. Plenty of clothing and merch stalls aimed towards tourists, many offering the same sort of things but for different prices - shop around first. Some food/ beverage stalls too but generally expensive - bring your own water and avoid these.

On the whole, if you're a tourist, stick to the rows going through the market as they offer tourists products and you can avoid walking arround the outside where all the fruits and vegetables are. Total...

Un marché paysan comme il n'en existe plus chez nous.. Tout vient de la ferme des producteurs, et la qualité des produits, que ce soit fruits, légumes, poissons, viande est extraordinaire pour qui sait encore choisir sa nourriture.. Que de la production maison, Bio évidemment, et quel goûts !! Partout vous pouvez goûter les produits, parfois le producteur vous offre son Raki maison si vous faites l'effort de parler Grec !
