An unforgettable dining experience in Lixouri!

We had the pleasure of dining at this lovely taverna during our stay in Lixouri, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality — something that stayed consistent throughout the entire evening.

A special mention goes to Constantin, our waiter, who was simply outstanding. He is incredibly well-prepared, knows the menu inside out, and offered excellent recommendations that exceeded our expectations. His professionalism is matched by his kindness and charisma — always polite, engaging, and ready with a good joke to brighten the mood. You can tell he loves what he does, and it makes all the difference.

The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic Greek flavors and prepared with great care. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Combined with the authentic Greek atmosphere, warm lighting, it felt like the perfect Mediterranean evening.

This place has everything you could wish for in a Greek taverna — exceptional service, amazing food, and a welcoming, relaxed vibe. We left with full hearts and happy memories, and we will definitely return.

We took pasta with shrimps and pork steak and an aubergine salad as an appetiser. The salad came after 40’ of waiting and 5’ after it, the main food came. A bit frustrating when there were only 4 table in total and we were the 2nd table that arrived. The girls who were serving however were nice and positive. The pasta as a taste was very poor, was more like an unsalted boiled pasta that you add on top the tomato sauce and the shrimps- all cocked apart, not the taste of a real pasta with shrimps when you can taste the sea food with the pasta as well. Absolutely stunning… if fact exceptional ….. we had tried a few more restaurants before and one night they were all full, so we tried here… and oh my the food was absolutely divine, fantastic food, amazing service, so friendly & welcoming… such a lovely gentleman serving and we got to meet the chef who was lovely.
