Anemos Cafe — Restaurant in Lixouri Municipality

Shameful place, shameful treatment. I sat with my family to the terrace of this awful place, while we were waiting to rent a boat. We took a seat in the shade thinking the terrace was closed as it was completely empty except 2 locals also enjoying the shade. At the moment we realized the place is open, our 3 years old daughter had to go to the toilet, so I went to find the bar, as it is divided from the terrace by a main road. I entered and asked to use the toilet and 2 people sitting inside drinking coffee refused to let us use their facility. I was completely in shock and tried to ask once again as it was for my kid, but they kept repeating we weren’t customers. Maybe I would have become a customer if they weren’t lazy to approach us and offer us to order something. Nobody came that for quite a while we thought it wasn’t even open. a local person brought us to this terrace to wait for the boat in the first place, so we assumed we would be welcome. I have no words for this kind of treatment and not letting a 3 year old use the toilet. It’s a disgrace for this beautiful island and our whole experience. I wish the owner and the 2 people present and sending me away all the worse in the world. It’s a disgrace for humankind to have these kind of people working and supposedly serving others....

A good place to chill out under sturdy sunshades when the Kefalonian heat gets too much. Comfortable director type seats make long stays a pleasure by the side of the busy ferry boat. Sufficiently far from the road to muffle the all too familiar Greek teenagers' passion for motorbikes and mopeds with unsilenced silencers. Occasional entertainment (unintentional) from 'sailors' who have left their dinghies at home and have charted forty footers that have to be moored stern-to, often in a brisk cross wind. Strictly, Anemos is more a bar than a cafe but nuts are served with excellent Alpha draught beer and toasted sandwiches are available as is coffee, hot or frappé. Views across the bay to Mount Ainos are a delight. All in all. Good...

Very bad experience. I ordered a club SW, they brought something else and when i highlighted the mistake they refused to bring the original order. The reason for not bringing it was that they were expecting other customers and they do not have the time to make it although the restaurant was empty, we were the only customers. Very unprofesional. My friends food was also bad, no taste at all and it took an eternity...
