Palermo Restaurante, Fontabella Zona 10 — Restaurant in Guatemala City

Well, I have been to this place twice. Once for skirt steak, that was, for size, EXPENSIVE. There is another place about 10 blocks down the road that really understand "size" when it comes to their steak and the PRICE here is TOO expensive, for what you get. Second time I order "noquis" really good, but traditional Argentine (italian) pasta is served with bread. I was never offered bread. It is a shame. Meat was great! For the price, you can get better quality at other steak houses like casa Escobar or don emiliano. My chimichurri was spicy and when I asked, the waitress said that because of the pepper which makes no sense considering chimichurri does not carry that much pepper so yeah.. it was not a bad experience but being a super fan of steak houses my expectation is...

I was actually just walking through and noticed they have provoleta, so I stopped and had a couple of empanadas (the caprese was ridiculously good) and the basic provoleta, along with a half bottle of a very good Malbec. The service was exemplary and everyone was very friendly. I'll definitely go back next...
