We stayed 3 nights, and wished it could have been so much longer. From the moment we arrived they make you feel special, as you are met with gorgeous fragrances being pumped through the aircon. We arrived earlier than scheduled, and rather than make us wait for our room (which they were of course entitled to do), they found us another room so we could get settled before leaving to discover Budapest.
Front desk staff were excellent, in particular Adam, and another lady whose name we sadly didn't get. They helped us with arranging trips and offered advice for places to eat and see, etc.
The room iself was lovely and extremely clean with a slightly unconventional, but delightful, layout. My wife likes to sleep on lots of pillows, and I need a firm neck pillow, all of which was happily provided. Would have been nice to have a Smart TV as english channels limited to 2 news channels.
The location is superb. It's a stones throw from St.Stephens Basillica, which means the exciting Jewish quarter is only a 15 min walk away, same for the beautiful Parliament building.
Facilities are excellent, with free tea and coffee. The bathroom shampoos etc were very good and the robes and slippers a nice bonus.
The only thing that was a letdown was the breakfast. We arrived fairly late and the 'hot' breakfast was anything but. The eggs and meats were lukewarm to cold. As I say, we did arrive towards the end of breakfast, but we still expected the food to be hot. The breakfast staff were also the polar opposite of the front desk, quite surly. But I cannot stress enough this experience didn't tarnish our opinion of the hotel in general, as everything else was so wonderful.
I should also mention how beautiful Budapest is, with amazing architecture and some of the most welcoming and polite people we have ever...

When you are a hotel and hospitality professional on vacation, you cannot entirely switch off and just enjoy your holiday but also analyze the hotel you stay at, the service you receive and every single detail during your stay. We just spent two incredible nights at the Hotel Moments Budapest. I have tried most of the nicest hotels in Budapest already but the Hotel Moments gave me a special experience I never had before. We stayed at the Andrássy Suite which is on the top floor and gives you a breathtaking view to the Basilica and to the city center. “Take my breath away!“ This was exactly my feeling when I woke up in the morning, opened my eyes and looked outside through the panoramic windows. An indescribable feeling and unique moment that the entire Budapest says “Good Morning” to you. What an amazing and personal experience. Such rooms are almost impossible to be found in the city so if you want your breath to be taken away, I strongly encourage you to book the Andrássy Suite or the Basilica Suite during your next stay in Budapest. All the single details in the rooms are amazing, the breakfast is super delicious and the stuff provides you the greatest service ever. The Bistro Fine Restaurant is also highly recommended for business lunch or dinner. Every single piece of the food has its own characteristics, designed perfectly and tastes amazingly good. The stuff really goes beyond expectations and anticipates every need. We fell in love in many, many ways during our stay. We fell in love with Budapest again, we fell in love with the cultural and gourmet experience and we fell in love with Hotel Moments Budapest. Thank you very much Hotel Moments Budapest for the life-changing hotel experience. We will be definitely back and looking forward to be taken our...
Read moreFirst time in Budapest and this hotel. We (my wife and I) had an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel is located on the more 'trendy' shops around that area and that's a good thing.
From reception check in - to exit was a very pleasurable and enjoyable experience. Friendly, staff who were always smiling and happy to serve you.
The hotel room was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you could need on a weekend city trip to Budapest! The temperature in the rooms were set to a nice 23 degrees on arrival and despite being 0 degrees outside, the temperature all around the hotel was enjoyable. We didn't visit the Wellness centre that is located downstairs, but if the rest of the hotel was anything to go by - I'd be surprised if that was a disappointment.
Great selection of breakfast in the morning, with a trendy and decent bar of an evening to enjoy a nice selection of drinks, cocktails and desserts.
Internet speeds in the hotel were very decent with an average of 50MB upload and 40MB download on a laptop device. I suspect they have QoS in place, as mobile phones were capped to around 5MB down and 25MB upload. Signal strength was good all around, including in the rooms.
The lounge area downstairs provides coffee, tea and a good selection of herbal teas. Free snacks and peanuts are also on hand.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel if you're travelling as adults. The hotel can accomodate children I'm sure, but there isn't anything that's really 'kiddie based' - if that's what you're looking for.
We would come...
