I ordered kothu parota parcel and was waiting inside resturant. On one of the tables were a group of people having dinner one person picked up verbal argument with restaurant manager. He was shouting bad words to the manager. I can clearly see he was drunk and was creating bad scene on the floor of resturant. Resturant manager is a good gentleman he handled the situation without letting it go out of hand but what i could see was he was one and the only person who takes orders and makes KOT This Resturant is under staffed. Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday and we were surprised to find seats easily. Started off with some chicken soup that was warm and delicious. We ordered quite a few items and enjoyed all of them. The kothu parotta was definitely a highlight for us. The Kari dosa was quite filling as well. The special chettinad chicken needs a specialty mention too. Ambience - vibrant painting, looks colorful, basic no frills seating. No AC so it can get warmer. Food - After seeing positive reviews I went with expectations but was disappointed. Food lacked any flavour. Salt was very less. No punch at all in taste. Hugely disappointed. When told the manager about it, he gave an excuse they got new chef. It's not an excuse, when you have new chef you have to double sample the food before sending for service. We are not here for experimenting with new chef while paying.
