Kix Lounge — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

On 25.08.2025 we were visit at kix at CC1 Saltlake, Kolkata around 3:30 pm to take lunch after visiting a nearby hospital namely JBCH while attend a family members Operation. After entering to the lounge area a staff working at kix conveyed us rudely that the lounge space will be opened after 4:00 pm. Hence we were standing outside for 30 minutes.. At 4:03 pm we were again entered in the lounge space of Kix to take lunch then the waiter provide us with the menu card rudely again.. while taking the food they brightened Loudly the lights above dining table which generate heats as much as outside humid weather.. Instead of requesting them to lightened down the brightness of lights immediately above our dining area they were not co-operate with the same. After taking food the service staff provide us with bill within 10 minutes after serving the food for payment purpose unprofessionally and told us to leave the place immediately as they had a booking of some private party at the lounge Space though we haven’t informed at first regarding the same..We also haven’t received the prior notice of the same at outside of entry gate of the lounge at that day before entering the restaurant.. Me & my friend also felt insulted due to rude behaviour of the waiter at Kix lounge.. Hence we were use to leave the place immediately after facing the miss behaviour from KiX lounge.. How can a restaurant serve this type of service to the customers which is highly unsatisfied. They don’t have a right to push a customer outside while serving the lunch without any prior information outside of the restaurant entry gate. If we were informed earlier we will never visit the Kix lounge.. It’s highly unprofessional.. We will never visit the place...

Information : Polite and Friendly Staff, Happy Hour on the weekdays and the taste of the foods are the main reasons why you should go there. However, there are no happy hours on Saturday and Sunday. Previously the offer was 1+1 but now there's a new offer. The last time I was there, it was Rs. 80.00 per drink in the happy hour. Sometimes this place may be closed due to private parties but that's very rare incident. However you can give them a call before you go there just to be sure. The price of the food is a bit on the higher side but the quality and quantity will help you understand the reason...

This has been an hang out for me since my undergraduate days. Previously the happy hours menu was more elaborate with more options for cocktails. Now the number of cocktails have reduced and the offers changed. The 80/- carnival is going on. Wherein most items come for 80/- or 160/- . All pegs are standard 30 ml pegs and beer includes draught beer and kingfisher ultra strong. Menu remains the same with dishes mostly from the menu of Haka which is located just beside it.

Ambience is very nice and so is the music . Staff are courteous and food is good. Overall a good place to hang out with friends...
