Google should introduce no star concept
I had a very bad experience from reliance digital in Edapally Oberon Ernakulam kochi.
I had purchased four Samsung 5 star AC on 26th January 2025. the sales executive mentioned that if AC's purchased on 26th the installation charges will be 499/- only which would be done by the Samsung service center.
we had asked them atleast 10 times to confirm whether this was the case where the installation charge is Rs.499/-
Also the entire conversation phone recorded.
Now after delivery we had a doubt and called the Samsung service center to enquire about the 499/- instalation charge.They first told it was true but upon further enquiry after sending the bill through whatsapp they are saying that we are not eligible for the Rs.499/- installation offer as it is only for 3 star AC and not for our 5 star model which we purchased.
Also they have mentioned that the ODU stand is Rs.599/- which was given to us in writing in reliance letter head and was billed at Rs.899/-.
The sales executives there are ultimate fraudsters where they quote a lower price to hold customers and when billed they charge a higher price,looks like this is a coordinated and planned cheating by both the service center and the manager in reliance.
I paid close to 2 lakh rupees and this is the service and response I get. I should have read the reviews in website which has similar reviews where other customers are facing similar issues. Now due to this issue the installation is getting delayed and they are charging close to Rs.4000 per AC.
Everyone please be careful and get everything in writing from them.I'm planning to go to consumer court that's only way.
The sales executive and staff are now changing narratives faster than chameleon change its colors. I really want to mention their names but not now ,one of the sales staff (guy) who spoke to my mother in a very bad tone i have the recording of that too. Please give your staff proper training on how to resolve conflicts rather argue with customer in a arrogant way.

Read moreI took 8 items and it took 1.5 hour to bill it. This is the same for each and every bill. It takes around 15 to 20 minutes to bill 1 item and each item will be billed seperately. This is really annoying and disgusting, that too we have to pay for parking for each hour Since the parking is charging as well. I been there twice and had the same experience. Have to wait for almost 30 mins to reach the billing counter if there is no rush, if there is 3 customer in the counter it will take around 1 hour to reach the counter and then 15 to 20 mins to bill eaCh item. I took 8 items, almost 40 mins to reach the counter and 1 hour 45 mins to bill my items. Had spent more than 2 hours for billing and had to pay 3 hours additional parking charge even after purchasing item for more than 1.5 lakh rupees. Really disgusting and annoying. I won't recommend reliance at all for big shoping. Gopu nadilath is the best alternative choice. Free parking, almost same price, offers and fast billing and service.
More over I had opt for home delivery for all items and 2 items where missing in it while they delivered. When I asked the delivery boy, he replied they don't have any info about it. Even the customer care replied the same and asked to call the dealer itself. I had tried calling oberon reliance cochin, Kerala more than 20 times and the phone is through out busy. No curtesy to even call back when they see some one is trying to call them more than 20 times in a day. Now I will have to spend petrol, time and additional parking charge to go there wait for another an hour or two and collect the missing item

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a digital store. I purchased a laptop from Reliance Digital, and as part of the package, they offered a wireless keyboard and mouse — which they charged us for. Shockingly, the keyboard and mouse stopped working on the very first day. We had to go through the hassle of sending emails and returning the item just to get a replacement.
Things only got worse. Shortly after, we noticed the laptop screen had a yellowish tint and began flickering whenever we accessed the display settings. Upon reporting this, they said it needed to be checked at the service center. But ultimately, nothing came of it — no proper resolution, no replacement. It felt like we were being misled throughout.
Every time we pointed out the problem, they came up with excuses instead of addressing it properly — and the same goes for the ASUS service center. Even when we showed clear video proof of the screen issue, we were told it wasn’t sufficient.
If you're planning to spend ₹40,000+ and are okay with running around in circles for support, then go ahead and shop at Reliance Digital, Oberon Mall. Otherwise, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I regret choosing Reliance Digital, especially when I had other, better options.
