Horrible Experience – Wakefit Edapally Store Is a Total Disaster

If you're thinking of buying from the Wakefit Edapally store — DON’T MAKE THAT MISTAKE. I purchased 15 items worth ₹2.35 lakhs from this store, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish.

I visited the store multiple times, finalized everything, and placed my order on April 26th. The salesperson, Yadhu, sold me dreams. He promised better support if I ordered through the store instead of online, claimed everything would be delivered within 5 days, and when I told him my new apartment wasn’t ready yet, he said they could put the order on hold and I could contact them 5 days before the delivery date I needed.

I followed that to the letter and visited the store on Sunday, May 25th requesting delivery by June 8th. That's a 2-week window — more than enough, right? Wrong. Suddenly I’m told each item has a separate delivery schedule and nothing could be promised. This was never mentioned during the purchase.

The store manager (newly joined) promised an update the next day — I got nothing. So I physically went again. Yadhu, full of attitude, acted like nothing was wrong and said all items would reach before June 8th. He asked for 5 more days for “systems to update.” He also completely denied any miscommunication from his side.

Now it’s May 31st — 6 days later — and I still haven’t received a proper update on the majority of items. Out of 18 items, only 2 mattresses and two pillow sets have been delivered. I got messages for just 2 more smaller items being in transit. No updates on big items like the cot, sofa, or dining table — which I specifically told them to prioritize.

I spent 4 HOURS at the store today trying to get a solution. No one could help. Yadhu kept bluffing that everything was in transit, which was a lie. Now he’s telling me to check the Wakefit online site myself — after convincing me to buy from the store for “better support.”

This is pathetic customer service. Zero coordination, zero responsibility, and absolutely no respect for customers or their time. If I had known deliveries would take over a month, I would never have agreed to put the order on hold.

₹2.35 lakh worth of orders, and this is the treatment I got. Wakefit should be ashamed of how badly this store is being managed. Save yourself the frustration — AVOID the Wakefit Edapally store...

#wakefitservicesupport Horrible experience! After purchasing a sofa worth 30k on 26th May they never delivered the product on time. Expected date of delivery was 11th June. We waited till 15th to register a complaint. They said it’ll be delivered only on 26th June, exactly a month. Even after full payment we still haven’t received our product. Does our money have no value? Or is wakefit just looking for easy money and its interest? Even for the bill we had to call them since we didn’t get any mail as there promised

Update 2: the reason I had been informed by the customer support is it’s getting delayed because of the quality issue found while shipment. The reason I got from the store was lack of product shortage but here comes the twist.

Update 3: Mr. Nitin, I don’t know what he’s doing for Wakefit, he’s always in meeting and doesn’t have a single free time to talk to customer on behalf of store manager Ram Prasad’s absence. I’m very sorry to drag Ram’s name into this even though he’s on leave but I don’t have any other option. Apparently Nithin had asked the warehouse team not to deliver any products due to rain but he had instructed to deliver goods if it’s within city.
