A few of my friends and I decided to catch up after a long time, and since Coffee Culture Kurla was a strategically good location for all of us, we chose this place.
This cafe is located inside Kurla Phoenix Marketcity, and on the floor of the Food Court. The place is not too big but kind of open, so you don't feel too claustrophobic. The interiors are done up in a nice, vintage way too.
Talking about the food there, I wasn't expecting such a wide variety of dishes there. Apart from hot and cold coffees, there were pizzas, fried chicken items and even rice based dishes! We ordered a couple of paneer and chicken pizzas and a round of hot and cold coffees as per our preferences and settled down.
The Chicken Pizza had a based of baked chicken, which was cool. But then, it was way too salty. If they would have toned down on the salt fact the pizza would have been great.
Among coffees, I liked their Cinnamon Cafe. I love cinnamon and I love coffee. So, loved the combination of the two in that. We also had their Black Smooch coffee. The presentation of that is nice, but felt that the coffee was a bit too watery because of the ice which already melted a little beforw it arrived on the table.
I did try their Peach Long Island Iced Tea as well, and it was served just like an alcoholic Iced Tea, with the signature tall glass, straws, stirrers, et al :) The presentation was nice and the taste was refreshing.
Among their Mains, I tried the Veg Manchurian, which was basically manchurian gravy served with some rice. Again, this dish was too salty, a feedback which we conveyed to the Chef, who graciously offered to replace the dish. By the time, we were full, so we politely declined the replacement.
Among desserts, although they have a significant number of items in the menu, only their Sizzling Brownie with ice cream and chocolate cake were available. So we went with those. They weren't outstanding, but weren't too bad as well.
Overall, I would say that if they tone down the quantity of salt they use in their savoury dishes, and also do away with a few dishes (like the rice based ones - they don't really go with the cafe theme), experience in Coffee Culture would be all the...

Initiated with Kitkat Shake Beautifully presented, the glass rimmed with cocoa, a blend of chocolate icecream with kitkat, lovely consistency well balanced in sweetness this was slurpicious
Appetizers
Cumin Chicken Chicken tenders marinated in spices & grilled mild traces of cumin pan seared, served on skewers with a green mint mayo dip & salad. The dip complemented the chicken very well. (6pcs) this was good.
Egg Kejriwal A Deconstructed version of a Kejriwal, drifting away from the traditional Kejriwal visually. Not the actual Kejriwal in terms of Looks. Egg on toast with a layer of sauteed onion tomato spread, topped with grated cheese. Super cheesey. It can either be a hit or a miss depends from person to person. I kind off liked it so a thumps up from me.
