They have thali that is everything is served in a single plate.
This is the best place where you can go with family... You will get here Royal dish and royal service.. Staff gave us amazing service and are very polite and familiar. The communication between them is very nice and all are communicating using signs so customers will not get distracted while having a conversation. You ask for a item and it will not take more than two minutes for them to serve you. The service was excellent. Almost every person gave us excellent service here. Unlike other places where they say they serve unlimited food but slow down their service after sometime. Here it is not going to happen here. Just like every indian family forces you to have food and mainly the sweets. this same type of service you will get here..!!
Service 5/5.
Their Ambience is also very nice. The place is very beautifully designed and perfect Ambience to have such royal thali.
Ambience 5/5.
I went here for dinner and they welcomed us in proper rajasthani way with a sweet (motichur laddu). Then immediately they started serving us their thali. Their thali were having 27 items including everything... Sounds amazing right??
They started serving with "beetroot salad" and 3 types of chutneys. Their pudina and imli chutney were amazing.
In "farsan" they gave us corn dhokla, barsa dolla and papdi chaat. Barsa dolla i liked the most.
"Special dish of the day" was "daal baati"...!! This is one of the best daal baati i ever had served with ghee and churma...
In vegetable sabzi they gave us paneer balti sabzi, valor tomato, aloo baingan sambhariya and moong masala. Perfect gujarati and rajasthani taste.
In daal there was Gujarati sweet daal and dal tadka. The best thing in the Gujarati dal was that they used jaggery and not sugar... Which is very good for health. And kaju kadhi was served.
I had 4 types of breads. Roti, satpadi roti(it is mixture of 7 types of masala), aloo paratha and jowari roti.
In sweets they gave us malai chum chum, pineapple halwa and Kesari jalebi with rabdi. I liked their jalebi alot they made me eat almost 7-8 jalebis.
In rice they gave us chiman biryani and mooger dal khichdi. Both were nice.
Almost every items were amazing but i liked their dal baati, paneer balti sabzi and jalebi the most...
Overall all food items 5/5
Overall best place to have dinner or lunch...
Read moreMajestic Mango Feast at Rajdhani I am a Mango Maniac. Just the word, the sight, the tantalizing aroma of ripe Mango makes me go crazy in anticipation of it's ambrosial sweetness. Please don't kill me just yet for being so narcissistic cause I am going to make you more ecstatic with the Mangolicios Majestic Feast at Khandani Rajdhani ( Phoenix Market City, Kurla ) At the entrance of the Rajdhani ( Ek Khandani Parampara ) , We were greeted in a very traditional Indian way with a flower full ,Pooja thali , Chandan tilak and led inside by the manager. What followed was an authentic, Royal Banquet! It started with washing hands in a brass basin, by the warm water poured from a brass Suraee (I almost refused to do this but had to co-operate). Refreshingly cool, sweet & sour Kairi-Panhe or Mango Lassi as per diner's choice. Usually , when we go for a restaurant review, we chat, we eat, we take lots of pictures-breaks for every new dish. And that day being Sunday there were lots of diners rushing in big groups of family / friends , so we had to concentrate on tasting a bit faster than we usually are accustomed to. Check out the House full Rajdhani and its palatial decor Statutory warning : You must fast for a day before entering Rajdhani, or you won't be able to do justice to the Royal spread that appears majestically in a spectacular thali, The attendants keep on refilling every bowl , as soon as you finish the first portion. Let me try to recollect the infinite preps I tasted... Chana chaat, Paneer Aalu, Ker Sangri ( Rajasthani special vegetable ), Aalu matar, Mataki oosal, Aam Kadhi, sweet & sour Mango Dal dhokli, Dal Bati , Vegetable korma , Rajsthani khichadi ,soft, fluffy Mango Ring Dhokla, Dahi chaat , Kairi Chilli samosa ( I wish I had an extra stomach, just for this crispy, yummy prep ), Raw Mango Pachdi , Mix achar , lasoon chutney , Mango chhoonda , Aam bhare Papad roll, Koordai , Aam ras-Poori, Aam ki launji Moong Dal Halwa , Mango Jalebi , Choorma ladoo ... Many say, never visit a bhatarkhana ( kitchen ) of a restaurant or you will never dare to eat at that restaurant again. And here at the Rajdhani, the diners are actually invited to visit their spacious, clean , hygienic kitchen to view the cooking process. I particularly loved how swiftly my favorite pooris puffed , the fulkas rolled...
Read moreRajdhani - Ek Khandani Parampara This is the traditional place, where Gujarati, Maharashtraian and Rajasthani cuisines are served. This is the 4th outlet of Rajdhani in Mumbai. They have carried their cultures.
Located in Phoenix MarketCity's Food Court on second level. Recently they have renovated this place and gave some modern touch with their old customs. On the entrance the staff dressed in Rajasthani Style greeted us warmly.
Each and every staff member was too polite, properly dressed and super alert. Mr. Bhawani Singh manager there greeted us with good smile and NAMASTE! Such a beautiful welcome by them.
Just after sitting, a man with jug and a bowl comes and help washing our hands and placed our dishes. And after that, one after another server came in and filled our dishes. Damn this was the best service I ever came across.
They have thali priced for ₹500+taxes. On Tuesday's they have special offer where this thali just costs ₹250/-. Their thali is too heavy and just impossible to finish! In Thali they have 3 types of Farsan, One Speciality of the Day, 4 types of sabzis, 3 types of Daal, 2 types of Rice, 3 types of sweets and for drinks buttermilk.
Farsan: Dahi wada Paneer Bhare Papad Roll Samosa Chat
Speciality of the Day was Dal Baati Churma.
Vegetables: Sangri ke kofte Makahnia Rigna Dum Palak Aloo Ragda Vatana
Daals: Meethi Daal Kaathi Daal Rabodi Kadhi
Rice: Kesari Pulao Masala Khichdi
Rotlas: Phulka Chatpata Gobi Paratha Makai Rotla Ajwain Puri
Sweets: Malai Sandwich Sewai Kheer Jalebi with Rabdi
At the end they serve chilled Buttermilk. While eating we had a vote round for eating in restaurants or eating here. Most of us agreed eating here with hell many variety of food items with super delicious taste. Having a Thali here is more preferable then having different food items in restaurants with highly paid charges!
Surelyyy gonna visit soon!
