Apple Store Saket Review - Select City Walk Mall I recently visited the Apple Store at Saket in Select City Walk Mall, New Delhi, and it was quite an experience. The store is a sleek, modern space that screams Apple’s premium vibe. Here’s my take on the good, the not-so-good, and the overall feel of the visit. The Good The store’s design is a standout—open, minimalistic, with warm wooden textures and a clean layout that makes browsing a joy. Every Apple product, from iPhones to MacBooks, HomePods to AirPods, is displayed hands-on, letting you explore freely. The staff is a major highlight. Most employees I interacted with were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. One staff member, Priya, patiently answered my questions about the new MacBook Air and even guided me through some accessory options. The Today at Apple sessions, presented in a roundtable format, looked engaging, though I didn’t attend one. The store was buzzing with energy, and the seamless checkout process made my purchase quick and hassle-free. The Genius Bar setup for support and the expansive product demos added to the premium experience. Plus, amenities like Wi-Fi, parking, and wheelchair accessibility make it convenient for everyone. The Not-So-Good That said, there were a few hiccups. The wait times can be frustrating, especially if you don’t have an appointment. I noticed some customers waiting longer than expected, and the staff seemed a bit stretched during peak hours. One employee I approached seemed distracted and rushed, which felt off for Apple’s usual standards. Another letdown was the lack of drinking water for customers—a small but noticeable oversight in an otherwise polished setup. Lastly, a couple of reviews mentioned rude or unresponsive staff, and while I didn’t experience this myself, it’s worth noting that consistency in service could be improved. Overall Experience Overall, Apple Store Saket is a fantastic spot for tech lovers and Apple fans. The stunning design, wide product range, and mostly stellar staff make it a great place to shop or get support. Despite minor issues like wait times and the water situation, the experience was overwhelmingly positive. I’d recommend booking appointments in advance and visiting during quieter hours to make the most of it. It’s a store that lives up to Apple’s reputation, and I’ll definitely be back! Rating: 4.5/5 Will I recommend? Yes, absolutely!

YOU CAN’T TRUST APPLE ! When I first visited the store I met Mayank the technician he assisted me with my iPhone 11 Pro max battery swollen issue. He checked my device to see if it was working or not? Realizing it was working perfectly fine,he decided to charge the device. Within a span of 5-10mins it could be seen that my phone was charging and red sign for battery low alert popped on the screen and mayank further stated ā€˜it’s working let’s not use the phone it could be dangerous as it’s battery is swollen and then he further started diagnosing with usb device and created job sheet where he mentioned the battery issue and clicked pictures as well that no damage to phone screen and display. I then submitted my phone to apple and left. Later I received mail after 2days regarding requotation for display hardware issue and i couldn’t understand because my phone before submitting it was on working condition so I wanted to understand and I called apple customer care and told them there were no issue but just battery and I denied too for repair that I don’t want to proceed with repair. Later when the device reached the Apple Store saket for pickup I was stunned to see that there was a green flickering flash on the screen and kind of w mark on top right screen which was clearly visible but it was not there before I submitted for repair. ā€œReciccaā€ Their so called manager was not ready to understand our problem rather speaking against what I was trying to make her understand and she was just defending what I was telling. she was being so arrogant and was not ready to listen to my problem but just denying all my requests and I don’t think she was the manager but just an unprofessional, untrained employee. When I asked her to call Mayank and ask him infront of everyone, for the transparency she denied calling him that broke my trust from apple for the transparency. I feel cheated and it is a clear case of fraud. They damaged my phone now its dead and of no use. When I first submitted my phone for repair it was working perfectly fine but they returned me inoperative which is of no use. I visited apple to seek relief regarding my device but clearly no one resolved my issue and I had to face hard core arrogance from the staff.

Hey, we visited the Apple Saket store and there was a person named Pearl over there who initially came over to help us. We asked her to help us buy Mac Mini with the education offer, I had the UniDays account. She tried ordering it but it did not work, it showed an error, then she said to try it with my own phone saying there might be issue with their device which they were ordering with. We tried and we could got same error but she disappeared to somewhere, then we asked another person for help, he called some student offer specialist and and that person told us that the person who is a Student needs to be here in person. The UniDays account was owned by my sister (She was the student and we were buying for her) but I can’t call her over to the store at 9PM randomly, they didn’t understand this and insisted on it. They apparently wanted to manually do the student ID verification or something, I did have her virtual ID and asked if they want then we can ask her to confirm on a video call but they declined. Then they said you should be able to do it online with the unidays account, they said that we order online and then select pick up and pick up right now. We tried ordering online multiple times but were faced with same error, we tried telling them and also ask the 'Pearl' person to help out again, but she said try refreshing and try ordering again without checking what the error was why it was happening, they said they can't help, call Apple support. But in the end it was just that the order for the item we were placing was not available for pickup and it was showing that on the screen but they were insisting we try again and didn't provide much support, also they seemed busy with other things and didn't properly try to help us. In the end we left the store and realised what the problem was and ordered it for delivery and that worked perfectly fine. However that was apparently too hard for the Apple employees to care about they ended up wasting hours with us being there. Only if they just told us that you could only order it for delivery, we would have done that and left saving both time and useless effort. I hope you'll look into this, thank you.

Highly Dissatisfied Experience at Apple Store Saket, Delhi

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the experience I recently had at the Apple Store in Saket, Delhi, India.

On 20th August, I purchased a brand-new iPhone 14 Plus 128 GB Yellow from JB Hi-Fi in Melbourne, Australia, intending to gift it to my father for Father's Day, which is on 3rd September. Unfortunately, upon my arrival in India on the 22nd, we discovered a manufacturing defect: the sealing foam on the left side of the back panel was protruding.

I promptly contacted Apple Support Australia, who advised me to visit the nearest Apple Store, emphasizing that Apple provides worldwide support.

On the 23rd, I reached out to Apple Support again to request an appointment at the Apple Store in Saket, Delhi, India, which was scheduled for 3:30 PM IST.

At the store, a representative named Shruti examined the phone and informed me that "Apple has no policy of replacement in India" and that, since I had purchased the phone from a reseller, it could only be repaired, not replaced. I was taken aback, as it had been just two days since the purchase, and I hadn't even registered the device online. However, they refused replacement and questioned why I hadn't opened the box earlier. I explained that it was intended as a gift, and presenting someone with an opened box was not feasible. Nevertheless, they insisted on repair.

Reluctantly, I agreed to the repair, as I had already spent nearly an hour at the store and was told there were no other options. Meanwhile, my brother in Australia contacted Apple Support repeatedly. Their senior representative, Andy, asked to speak to someone at the store.

This is when my situation took a turn for the worse. Most of the store representatives seemed uncomfortable speaking in English. One rushed to find the store manager, Tokayu, who reluctantly got on the line. To my astonishment, he told Andy that they could replace the phone (in stark contrast to Shruti's statement) but claimed the phone was already in the repair process. He wiggled his eyebrows at his colleague, who quickly retrieved the phone, claiming it was repaired within ten minutes while Tokayu continued talking to Andy.

Afterward, they informed me that they couldn't replace the phone since it had already been repaired and advised me to go to Australia for a replacement, as such a policy didn't exist in India.

My encounter with Tokayu was the worst part of this ordeal. He suggested I ship the iPhone to Australia at my own expense for replacement, despite having earlier told Andy that it could be replaced. As I sought Tokayu out, he evaded me, retreating to the back of the store.

Upon Andy's request, I reluctantly accepted the repaired phone, although I was informed by Tokayu that shipping it to Australia would solve my issue. I must add that Andy also seemed dissatisfied with Tokayu's response during our conversation.

I am deeply disheartened by the unprofessionalism and lack of willingness to assist customers, qualities one would not expect from a newly opened Apple official store in India, particularly from the store manager, Tokayu. It appears that the store representatives are uncertain about Apple's policies and rely on personal beliefs rather than adhering to...

I want to share the HORRIBLE, TRAUMATIZING experience I had at @Apple Saket. I went in to get my iPhone repaired because it kept randomly blacking out, and what I went through there was beyond words.

I met the manager, Guri, who handed my case over to Mayank. After running diagnostics, they confirmed it was a hardware issue (logic board), not physical damage. I signed paperwork confirming I wouldn’t need to pay a single rupee since the problem was covered under warranty.

To make this clear: I was READY to pay ₹8,900 (the AppleCare deductible) for a repair. I spent over ₹1,50,000 on my iPhone 14 Pro with over ₹20,000 in AppleCare specifically because I’ve had issues with my previous phones. Why would I risk tampering with it? I trusted Apple. I trusted this store.

They told me my phone would be ready by 7 PM, but I dropped it off at 3:30 PM, and when I returned at 5:30 PM, they told me it was ready for pickup. After waiting for 15 minutes, a technician came up and told me they had found ā€œunauthorized modificationsā€ in my phone. They showed me a photo of a fingerprint inside the phone. I was SHOCKED, SPEECHLESS. I kept telling them there’s no way this could be true, this phone was bought brand new from Apple Galleria in Dallas, Texas. I never had a single issue with it and never needed to repair it!

I asked them, why would I risk opening up my phone when I’m paying for AppleCare to avoid these problems?! They didn’t care. They shut me down, didn’t listen to a word I said, and ignored my desperate pleas. I told them this had to have happened because of the negligence of the technician. After every desperate attempt, I was ready to just leave.

Then, the worst part: when they returned my phone to me, it was even WORSE than before. Now, it restarts by itself every 2 minutes, and I’m left with NOTHING. This is APPLE—how could this happen?! I have no phone. I can’t work. I can’t communicate. I can’t even get in touch with my family. I’m completely disconnected.

I turned to the manager, Guri, in tears, telling him that they had broken my phone and returned it in an unusable condition. His response? ā€œMa’am, trust me, it’s only going to get worse.ā€ I couldn’t believe it. Now my phone is a useless brick, and on top of that, they’ve VOIDED MY APPLECARE. I’m completely screwed.

I reached out to a few friends, and they said, ā€œWhy would you even go to @Apple Saket? They’re known for shady business practices and never helping anyone.ā€ They were right. These people are nothing but smooth talkers, heartless, careless, and completely indifferent to the fact that I’m now phoneless and without any support.

I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m reaching out to share this because I need help, and I need someone to hear me. This experience has been a nightmare. I’m lost without my phone, and I feel...

Another letdown was the lack of drinking water for customers—a small but noticeable oversight in an otherwise polished setup. Lastly, a couple of reviews mentioned rude or unresponsive staff, and while I didn’t experience this myself, it’s worth noting that consistency in service could be improved.

Overall Experience

Overall, Apple Store Saket is a fantastic spot for tech lovers and Apple fans.
