Buffet King Barbecue Nation's latest Outlet Opened at City Center 2, Newtown. This outlet is located just beside the CC2 Food court. They Have a huge seating area of 130-140 people at a time. Decor were very simple and Comes with their as usual prime colour orange- white. Their Moto is displayed all over the walls which is ' Endless Starters, Endless Buffet. Repeat'.

We visited on Tuesday for lunch with some fellow friends. On Monday and Tuesday The lunch Buffet Priced at - 629. At for the rest of the week - 878.

Barbeque nation provides Live Grill Counter on Every Table. Kababs were prepared infront of us. Tried some of the skewers like Schezwan Chicken, Hoisin Prawns, Coastal BBQ Fish and Chilli Garlic Mashroom. Some of the starters were served over the plate like Crispy Corn ( loved it so much) , Cajun Potato, Mutton seekh Kabab and Peri peri chicken Wings ( That was Starter ka showstopper 😋)

Except all of this they Have a dedicated Live counter with seperate Veg and Non Veg Section . From Phuchka to Pasta or Mutton Liver Masala Fry to Chicken Sausage with Bell paper all are prepared in front of you upon your order.

After having That Huge range of starters i have a little more space available in my tummy for the rest of the lunch. So tried some main course item like Chicken Dum biriyani, Chicken Chaap, Mutton Adraki Gosht and Egg chettinad. Biriyani was really Great and the Mutton was best of that day. Special mention for the Egg Chettinad also. Egg slices had prepared in south indian style which tastes amazingly Great. You can Get others item like  Mixed Fried rice, Apollo Fish , Thai Red Curry Chicken, noodles, paneer Lasagne, Dal Makhani etc along with two type of soups. If You order they prepares Nun, Kulcha , Tandoori For you. So if you want any of these ask your Server to serve it.

Any meal is complete without having a perfect dessert And we all know Beside the starters, Deserts are also very famous in Barbeque nation. This time i tried Cut Fruits like water melon slice , Papaya Slice. , Corn sabudana ki kheer , Nut pie , Firni, Fruit Custard, Chocolate Brownie , Fresh Mango Compote Cheese Cake. Some Hot sweets are prepared in front of your eyes so you can try them. Hot mini Gulab Jamun, Malpua and Jilipi were so good. They have a seperate icecream section with vanilla and strawberry ice cream . U can add on Chocolate sauce over it if you want that. And how can i forgot nation's special kulfi. They have 6 different Flavoured Kulfis like Chocolate, Paan, Malai, strawberry, Kesar, pista.

** They don't serve any Complimentary Drinks on these two day so we seperately ordered some mocktails which were very Refreshing. We ordered Virgin Watermelon Martini CAM Cooler Virgin Mojito Mango Cooler Virgin Colada.

The nation wants to know about the best and huge spread buffet of the town and the answer will be “Barbeque Nation”

Barbeque is a cooking method, a style of food, and a name for a meal or gathering at which this style of food is cooked and served.

Team Munching Monks was there to explore their wide vast spread at the newly opened outlet.

Location - City Centre 2, New Town

Ambience - They are having a huge seating area with a capacity of almost 50 people who can dine in at one go. They have kept the decor very simple and polished.

Lunch buffet - Rs 629/- AI (Mon and Tues)

Staff were well behaved, courteous and the service was also quite good and prompt.

🍲 Food - The speciality of Barbeque Nation is their live grill counter at every desk. So starting from starters :

🍲 We had different types of kebabs grilled like prawn, chicken, mushroom and even pineapple also. Catchy part was the grilled pineapple. It tastes pretty good although. Mutton sheekh kebab was nice. We tasted the peri peri chicken wings and herbed spiced grilled chicken. You will get all the taste and flavours of the starters. These starters were cooked perfectly soft.

For starters, there is a system of putting the flag down. So it’s like you will be served with starters till the time you are not full and put the flag down.

You will get different types of papad also and soup.

Virgin Waterlemon Martini Virgin Colada Cam Cooler Mango Cooler Virgin Mojito.

All the drinks were very refreshing.❤️

🍜 Coming to the main course, we got hold of many things and none of them disappointed us. Chicken Dum Biriyani Chicken Chaap Mutton Adraki Gosht Apollo Fish Egg Chetinad Mixed Fried Rice Thai Green Curry Chicken

The mutton adraki gosht was a bang on among all these. 😍

Although liked their egg chetinad. A light South Indian spices and curry leaves essence in egg curry which tastes a bit different but it was quite tasty.

🍮 Desserts- Yes they are having a wide array of desserts and people like us will always have a little space in your stomach for desserts. We had -

Chocolate Brownie Nut Pie Corn Sabudana Kheer Cassata Pastry Phirnee Gulabi Jamun Fruit Custard Fresh Fruits Fresh Mango Compote Cheese Cake

Kulfi - Brownie points for this section. They are having different types of kulfi and you can try all of them like Chocolate, Malai, Pan, strawberry, kesar, pista.

All the desserts were mouth watering. My personal favourite were the types of kulfi, brownie and custard.

Barbeque Nation is also having live counters where you can try different type of dishes also.
