FEAST YOURSELF WITH SOME DELICIOUS DIMSUMS AND BAO BEFORE DURGA PUJA! How about visiting a place where you will get delicacies from the Far East like Japanese, Thai, Indonesian and Chinese cuisine. The Orient New Town , a specialty restaurant by Ambuja Neotia group offers the perfect flavor of south East Asia. This place is slaying since so many years in city of joy and Kolkata people has never disappointed from this place. The orient is a fine dining place where the overall experience was truly incredible. This place was not huge but a properly designed for couples, family or group meetups. This place is located at Ground floor of City Centre 2, Newtown, Kolkata. They have another outlet which is located at city Centre 1, salt lake. They do have both a la carte and buffet option to choose from. If I talking about their buffet they have buffet on table Which cost INR 499/- AI For VEG & INR 549/- AI for NON-VEG (12-4PM). Now in a la carte they have huge varieties of options from different cuisines but the interesting part is that they have just started their DIMSUM AND BAO Festival which is available from 15th Of Sept till before Druga Puja. So few days back we visited this place to experience their ongoing festival. What we had? ▶️Non veg Platter (8 Dimsums + 2 bao) consists assortments of – Chicken basil old scholl with oyster sauce dimsums. Prawns Chives and water chestnut dimsums Char sui pork dimsums along with Beijing chicken veggies with homemade vinegar bao. ▶️Veg Platter (8 Dimsums + 2 bao) Consists assortments of – Spinach corn Asparagus Dim sum Corn Mushroom and pak choi Dimsum Cantonese Vegetable and burnt garlic coriander dimsum Burnt Garlic, Broccoli and chilli sesame dim sum along with barbeque cottage cheese and spring onion bao. This both nonveg and veg platter costs Rs. 755/- and Rs. 675 Respectively. They serve a la carte and In the mode of platter system. The platter comes with different variant 4pcs/6pcs/8pcs with a common of 2 baos and you can choose your bao as well from the option of chicken/fish/pork/veg, this platter comes with three sauces/dips. Any combination and any variant can be made as per your choices and requirements. So, come and enjoy this amazing festival, you won’t regret for sure.

Such an amazing place to taste Asian food. I love the ambiance. Perfect place for couples, friends and family get together. They have a-la-carte as well as buffet available from 12 pm to 4 pm. Buffet on table cost INR 499/- AI For VEG & INR 549/- AI for NON-VEG. Dim Sum festival started from 15th of September to 11th October. They have so many varieties in platter. Dim Sum and Bao available in various combinations as well. The best part is you can customise your platter as per your choice. The platter comes with 4pcs/6pcs/8pcs Dim Sums with a common of 2 baos and you can choose your bao as well from the option of chicken/fish/pork/veg. You can have platters with three sauces/dips. There's always an obsession when it comes to Chinese or Asian Cuisine and I absolutely adore the magical vibe to the tastebuds when it comes to properties like this. This time it was Buffet on the Table that runs from Monday to Friday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The ambiance is quite enticing with the perfect South-East Asian vibe, soothing music and to my surprise they've got individual sections for 4 seaters and a huge section at the entrance for a group of 15 approx ; perfect setup for a fine dine. You can also avail Al a Carte & hard drinks as well. I had opted for the NON-VEG ' Buffet on the Table ' that includes 📌 Crispy Noodle Salad 🥗 with mixed vegetables 📌 Chicken, Tomato and Spinach Broth ( Soup ) 📌 Chicken Chilli Hoisin dumpling 📌 Sliced Fish in Black Pepper 🔰Mains 📌 Veg Corn & Coriander Fried Rice 📌 Egg Sichuan Hakka Noodles 📌 Pan fried Sichuan Fish 📌 Sliced Chicken in Black Bean sauce 🍨 Darsaan with Vanilla Icecream They have got VEG MENU for ' Buffet on the Table ' as well. If you wish to Add-on Mocktail it'll be ₹79 , Prawn will be ₹ 199, Lamb & Prawn together would be ₹ 249 ( per person ) Hospitality was quite professional and pricing was fair enough. Comfortable accommodation and completely hygienic. Recommended totally✅

TheOrientNewtown is an authentic Asian, Thai and Oriental table served buffet starting from Rs 579 for Veg and Rs 599 for Non veg . Note : You can also add prawn and lamb dishes at an additional cost . The mocktails are the add-ons @79 /- ( not included with the buffet ) Great and Ample seating arrangements with the Asian vibe as of the ambience with outstanding decors and designs . The food items from the non-veg buffet we had : Starters : Crispy noodle salad with mixed vegetable Chicken Tomato and Spinach Broth (soup) Chicken Dumpling is chilli hoisin ( highly recommended ) Slice Fish in Black Pepper Main course : Vegetable Corn and Coriander Fried Rice Egg Sichuan Hakka noodles . Pan fried sichuan fish ( The show stopper ) Sliced chicken in Black Bean Sauce ( highly recommended Dessert : Darshan with Vanilla Ice-Cream Mocktails in Frame : Apple Bull , Bill the kid , Orange Fizz Mojito ,Tranfusion . From the fragrant Chicken Manchow Crispy Noodle Soup to the perfectly seasoned Pan Fried Chilli Fish, every bite was a symphony of flavors. The Chicken Nuggets, Classic Fried Rice, and Hakka Noodles were equally impressive, but it was the Crushed Burn Garlic Butter Vetki that stole the show with its divine taste.
