Domino's Pizza - Cork - Douglas Village — Local services in Cork

I have been a fan of Domino's and have frequently ordered from them since moving to our new home. However, my recent experience on Sunday, April 7th, was extremely disappointing.

We placed an order for pizza at 8 PM, and after 45 minutes, the tracker indicated that our pizza was delivered. When I called the restaurant, I was surprised to learn that the driver returned the pizza because it "looked like no one was home." It was concerning that he never came to the door to knock or ring the doorbell, especially since the living room light was on.

To make matters worse, the restaurant informed us that the driver’s attempt to contact us failed because of an incorrect phone number entered during the order. I confirmed my correct phone number and asked them to ensure that the driver knocked on the door for the re-delivery.

After another 45 minutes without any update, I called again only to be told that the system had mistakenly reverted to a previous address. I found it strange that the driver went to the wrong location after just having been to my house earlier, which had "seemed like no one was at home." Neither he nor the restaurant contacted me to explain.

By this point, it was nearly two hours after our original order, and when offered a third attempt for delivery, I politely declined and requested a refund instead. I was then informed it would take 4 to 5 business days to process.

Overall, we are out €50 and without our meal, and the lack of communication and follow-up left a bad impression on us. It’s unfortunate because we genuinely enjoyed the food prior to this experience. Based on this incident, I doubt we will be returning.

I hope management addresses these issues to improve service and communication...

We had Domino's nearly twice a month, when we used to live in Dublin. We have just moved and for the forest time ordered in this Domino's in Douglas. The pizza was horrible. Nothing that we used to. Completely different that the ones we had in Dublin. It was like buying from a different company. First slice in and I just left it. There was to much tomato purre, cheese was weard color and texture. The box was dripping with fat. If that was first Domino's I ever had I would never have it again. The whole pizza...

Very disappointed with my experience with dominos today. The lady taking my order was extremely rude, she then sent the delivery driver to the wrong address and had a very bad attitude when I phoned to see what the issue was. She ensured me she would call me back but failed to do so. I spoke to manager and all I can say is that she needs attitude lessons . The order was eventually delivered over an hour late.
