We recently came for brunch, and our experience was mixed to say the least. After waiting for 20 minutes, we were informed that we had a limited dining time of 1 hour and 15 minutes due to not booking in advance, which we didn’t mind.
The pricing here is on par with what you might find in Cork City, but regrettably, both the service and the food left a forgettable impression. It's worth noting that the waitress who took care of our table did not wear a name tag, making it impossible for me to mention her by name. She had blemished skin, dark hair, and glasses. Her service left much to be desired.
She seemed distracted and not entirely focused on her job. Our orders were mixed up, and even simple requests for water and the bill were forgotten.
We found ourselves waiting for extended periods, and to our surprise, we noticed her standing behind the bar, seemingly preoccupied with polishing cutlery. When we finally approached the bar to remind her of our requests, she didn't even recall that we had asked for water and the bill. It left us feeling disappointed, as the service was far from great.
In summary, the food was average and the lackluster service. Though I won’t be coming back I wish them...
Read moreCame here for breakfast. My friend had arrived before me and was told by the host that the table would need to be back in 1hr 30 mins which was fine. We ordered our food and 30 mins later my friend asked if maybe our order was forgotten. The waitress was very apologetically as she had forgotten to put in the order and the place was very busy so we honestly didn’t mind. We asked if we would still need to give up the table by the required time and was told we would not, as our food hadn’t arrived yet. Right in the dot of the hour and 30 mins the host came over with the bill and said here’s the bill and I have another group waiting at the door for this table. This host was a young blonde girl and we both found her delivery extremely rude, especially after what happened. We have no issues with our order being forgotten as waitress was very nice and apologetically but the host...
Read moreI’ve went to 12 Tables on a few occasions and I always have the same complaints. Despite the staff appearing to be caring on the surface they constantly do very inconsiderate things. As we are currently in a pandemic I’d expect the tables to be sanitised after each customer but this is far from what happens. I saw a male waiter just brush the crumbs off the table with a menu and call in new customers. I was very disappointed. Last but not least the portion sizes and cost do not align. The meals are small and you pay top dollar for there meals, not good enough. I got a breakfast last week and I was left starving afterwards, and I do have a relatively small apatite.
Poor and overrated , the positive reviews are understandable by the attractive restaurant at the surface but if you look at it...
