Sometimes it is the hidden gems that you are most impressed by and this is one of them. This is a traditional fish and chip shop with a simple menu, everything done well and right. My friends had told me about the freshly cut chips and wow I was so impressed. The potatoes being cut on the spot and fried immediately make them flavourful with the perfect texture, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Sometimes simplicity is king and as simple as this sounds, best chips in Dublin.

Antonio is such a pleasant happy guy! A quick bag of chips here is such a special treat. A beautiful vegetable burger is also a great choice. The premises includes a wee annexe offering wall facing seating space for circa 6 persons so if its raining or cold outside you can sit in comfort enjoying the take away you didn't have to 'take away'. (Same price!) Visit - Do!

Food was excellent food was really good 👌 home made chips and fresh fish was lovely but it's very very expensive €32 for 2 x fish &chips and 2 x cans of coke (this is for a take away 😲)

Went there yesterday afternoon , ordered a chicken burger meal , everything was really well cooked , chicken was very nice ... unfortunately the Mayo in the burger was very much out of date , the consistency was like cream cheese . I was quite disappointed by this as I had thought it was quite a popular chipper , I won’t be returning to this place any time soon . I don’t know much about running a restaurant, but food safety and hygiene should be the one of the most important factors when serving a customer , all it takes is for one person to be sick from out of date ingredients . Staff when preparing food should be more Aware of what they’re giving to a paying customer , regardless of how busy or time consuming it may be , I would rather wait longer and be sure I’m getting Fresh food , rather than for everything being slapped on too quickly without even the staff watching what...

Last Friday, after too long spent on drafty buses and with 10 minutes to spare before the 59 to Sandycove from Dunlaoghaire, I ordered a fresh cod & chips. My order was ready in about 5 minutes, I caught the bus, got home, took off my coat and sat down to a feast. A large portion of freshly deep-fried, succulent cod in crispy golden batter, with a generous portion of hot floury chips. I died and went to heaven. I had to slow myself down, so I could savour every mouthful. It was the best fish & chips I've ever had in my life. Sure, maybe it was the day that was in it, but I never enjoyed a simple meal as much as I enjoyed that dinner. I described it to my sister who has made me promise to have the same again this Friday. So we will. You cannot go wrong with this place, reliable, affordable, hygenic, great staff, great value -...
