Miami Cafe EST1914 — Restaurant in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

Went in today and ordered food and drink with some friends and 2/3 of our orders were wrong , then once we asked for a change of the order they done the least to help.

They asked for a plain cheese burger and then they got given a cheese burger with everything on it , instead of getting them an entirely new burger they scraped the sauce and lettuce off. They also never got their side of chips with their burger without asking.

For myself I asked for a milkshake with some Oreo pieces , never got the Oreo pieces, and then for the food I ordered curry cheese chips, with a side of tenders . Curry came separate to the chips and never got cheese with them. Tenders were tastless and chips were super greasy.

The atmosphere is cute, and for an old-school café, it’s not the worst. But the food? That’s a different story. It tasted old and frozen. I’d seen stories online about their fries, but in reality, they were overloaded with thick, hard chips that were drenched in oil—clearly not fresh.

The burgers were just sad. The buns had the same issue—I’d bet they were stale. My friend ordered a hot dog, and it was just as disappointing. The only decent thing was the milkshake, but it was ridiculously overpriced for the size.

Miami Cafe in the heart of Dun Laighore is an amazing small street cafe serving ice cream, coffee shakes, fish & chips and burgers. Its great, cost effective plus delicious. I always go there with my friends and we order espresso coffee shake, its rich, creamy and deliciously thick. Go to burger is always chicken burger costs about €5 but is wholesome.
