I moved to the suburb recently and have ordered plenty of times from here. The food has usually been pretty good, but my last experience with them is so bitter that I am forced to leave a 1 star review (and I usually don't do that). I ordered a takeaway that included Veg Pad ki Mow noodles for my wife as that's the only one of the few vegetarian options they have. My wife literally eats the same thing every time. But this time around, they made it unsustainably and painfully hot. So I ring up the restaurant asking them why is it so ridiculously hot? To which the response I receive is "I am sorry, may be the batch of chillies was too hot. We will be more careful next time" and then the staff excused herself to attend another customer.

Thinking I wasn't clear enough, I drive up to the restaurant along with most of the food and tell the same staff that the noodles are virtually inedible for anyone(and we are Indians with above average tolerance for spices). I ask her if she can remedy the situation by giving me something else, or making a less hot version and she repeats..

"I am sorry, may be the batch of chillies was too hot. I will ask the chef to be more careful next time"

"But that's not going to help me with my dinner tonight" I say...She looks exasperated, but moves on to next customer immediately. I left the food there in case there was lesson they could learn.

I highly...

It's been awhile since a new restaurant opened in Dun Laoghaire and we were hoping for a new "go to" place for Japanese, Thai and Chinese food. The decor is standard hipster style: fancy filament bulbs hang over a central wooden bench, two seaters, old school metal/laminate board chairs and a ice-cream cone machine for your free dessert. It's nice space but you wouldn't be sitting around too long sipping your bottle of wine. It's very much eat and go and that's fine. The staff were friendly and helpful and collection went off without a hitch. Back home, we started into our Friday night feast which consisted of 4 starters and a main to share. First up, two generous potions of 6 deep fried chicken and vegetable dumpling (Gyoza) which incorrectly came with sweet chilli dip and not the Gyoza dip. Chicken were a highlight but the vegetable dumpling filling had the consistency of baby food and didn't taste great. Breaded Butterfly prawns were small, dull and lacked flavour. Chicken satay was a real let down: tough over cooked chicken covered in a bland watery satay sauce. Our main of Pad Thai was really good (and would have been better if they hadn't forgot the peanuts) and I will be returning, some lunch time, for a bowl of that. Overall disappointing but to be fair it was only their...

In KYOTO Asian street food in DUN LAOGHAIRE, the foods taste horrible compared to a few years back. The food will be either too sweet or too salty. The price is not cheap and they are not authentic Asian taste AT ALL. As many had mentioned how rude the customers service was to the customers. The last delivery order was so ANNOYING. Payment had made in advance when order online and the food was left at the wrong address. When called to the restaurant to check for delivery, was insisted the food was left in front of the door but it wasn't. After an hour only realized that the food was left at the next door's window. The poor deli man came to apologized and said if the food was not taken, he had to pay for it. I felt like this restaurant is so irresponsible for this as they knew it earlier the food wasn't arrived and it had to wait for an hour to know it delivered to the wrong place. If the payment wasn't made in advance, would they do this? Will never eat from this restaurant and will not recommend this restaurant in Patrick Street in...

Excellent service! Very quick and professional! Vegan options available! Ask at the desk for more info even on the non vegan dishes. The girl was so helpful and absolutely lovely to accommodate our dietary requirements! The kimchi dumplings are to die for! Never in my life have i had something so delicious and absolutely amazing! I do not have words to describe the kimchi dumplings! I could eat them every day for the rest of my life and never get bored!!! The Szechuan sauce and the udon noodles were perfectly prepared. The spring rolls just on point and everything else excellent! Wish they would have in Dublin a restaurant! Ahhh those kimchi dumplings!!

Oh not a good experience for me. That lady from the cashier and asked for my order was not friendly at all. There is nothing special with the food. I was excited to try it since there are a lot of good reviews but i was disappointed. I can still give you a 5 star if you have friendly staff but no. Everytime i asked question to her she was answering me in a rude manner and i felt like am a dumb person. Oh, not again.u
