This place with a bit more central location will shame any restaurant. Went there yesterday with wife and 2 friends and have to say we were struggling to find something to eat, something new, so we decided to give it a try. ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. First, take as starter chicken wings. We had the barbeque sauce ones, a bit more oregano in sauce then i go for, but was still good. I took photos of the plates a bit too late (when we finished it). The size of the portion beats any restaurant MAINS size. I would say there was easily 15 wings per plate. Never seen wings that purely melts the meat of the bone. Juicy, fresh, just perfect. A little down size that it could do with a little bowl of water, but i managed the fork and knife. Then for mains, we have pizzas. Stone baked, thin, crispy. Another delish. The table behind me had spaghetti meatballs, and i took a photo of those cuz was looking so good. I know where i eat the next time i go back in the area. SIZE NOTE: Thank you Nandos for keeping empty tables and not having us. Would of not...
Read moreWent with parents and brother yesterday Monday 9th Oct. Place was quiet, but Mondays can be like that. Zoe our server was fabulous, friendly and attentive. Three of us had the two course menu. Garlic mushrooms all round to start with mine without added mozzarella. They haven’t changed. As an old employee of former owner. It’s great to see the old favorites still there. Lidia❣️ the chef cooked us three fab pizzas, mum had chicken Caesar salad. Which she said was very generous on the chicken. We brought our own wine. As byo is welcome. Corkage applies. I rated 3 for atmosphere as it was quiet customer wise, we sat in back area where the lights could’ve been a bit dimmer. We made our own atmosphere haha!!! Thanks to all, keep up the good work. Hopefully you soon on a busier...
Read moreHonestly, it was probably the most boring and tasteless pizza I have ever had. The pizza I had is called the Mariana which I was expecting some lovely shrimp and some bits to accompany them. Nope. It was a few tasteless shrimp on a margarita pizza, with nothing else. My wife had some sort of shrimp salad and it was just a few lettuce leaves with 2 kabab sticks of shrimp. My oldest son had a calzone and it was like a loaf of bread with only a little filling. The crust was way too thick which meant that the inside of the crust was not cooked. The only reason Bits and Pizzas are getting 2 stars is because the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bill came to about €51 which was way too much to be paying for, for that kind of food. Needless to say we won't be back...
