The Tom Clarke Bridge formerly known as the East-LinkToll Bridge crosses The River Liffey at Dublin Port area…since this is the most most easterly crossing on the Liffey, I made it a definite one to engage and proceed to the Ringsend Park , The Dodder River and the Grand Canal locations..this is quite a busywork bridge with a very narrow sidewalk so strollers/cyclists must be careful when navigating the bridge..it has magnificent views and is a site...

This bridge desperately needs an overhall. As a pedestrian trying to cross it, the footpaths are narrow and you have to look out for scooters and people on bikes trying to get by you. There are only two lanes of traffic on the bridge (no cycle lanes at all) and with so many trucks, I would worry about the cyclists going by.
