Mount Solaro Chair Lift (upper station) — Local services in Anacapri

It’s a must see place when in Capri. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes with the bus to get to Anacapri where you have to go to Monte Solaro lift station to get the tickets which is about €14 per person round-trip. there wasn’t any lane because we came during Off-season aka best time to visit amalfi coast and capri. The weather is amazing. There is no long lines just make sure you’re not wearing flip-flops. Otherwise you’re gonna have to hold them since the ride itself is about 13 minutes each way and you don’t wanna loose your shoes. The restaurant up there doesn’t have any food. It’s only drinks so if you want to have little picnic on the hill, I would recommend you taking sandwiches with you. The views...

Super fun experience! I definitely recommend getting there very early. When we went up at 9:30 a.m. the line was about 10 people long and moved very quickly, but when we got off coming back down at 11 the line was out the door and down the stairs into the small square area. It was €14 for the round trip ticket and super relaxing. If you love ski lifts and sitting by yourself for 13 minutes and enjoying the views this is a MUST DO. If you visit Capri, I definitely recommend you take the chair lift up to the view point. There is a lovely cafe at the top with alcoholic drinks too, the view is stunning whilst on the lift as well as right at the top where you can experience full 360degree views of Capri and across to Naples on a clear day. Get a return for 12euro as the trek down is a little tricky but you also get the best images coming down.
