📍 "La Canzone del Cielo" Monte Solaro, Capri - Capri, IT ⭐️⭐️

Food:

Caprese Pizza - Slide 2 Decent, but nothing special. Dough was lackluster.

Drinks:

Aperol Spritz - Slide 1 Standard, yet enjoyable.

Mojito - Slide 1 Sweet, refreshing, and tasty.

My boyfriend and I came here while exploring Capri. They served my boyfriend the wrong drink, but the drinks were decent overall. The pizza was just average, and the bee infestation next to us made the experience uncomfortable. Additionally, the place was quite pricey. There was also a man, possibly the manager or owner, who was very particular about not letting people sit too long or at all if they weren’t eating, despite plenty of available seating and the intense heat.

Despite this, I still recommend the Monte Solaro Chair Lift for its stunning views. If you can afford it, enjoy a cocktail, but I’d suggest skipping the food.

If I could give less than a star I would. The staff are only nice to the Americans, and serve them first - probably knowing they will tip big - and they don't give a crap about anyone else. We tried to make the server come to our table for a good 20 minutes, and everytime he made eye contact he looked at me as if I was bothering him and intrerupting him from the bottom licking he was engaging in with the Americans. Finally he comes to our table and I ask him if I can have an ice latte and he rolls his eyes all the way to the Vesuvius (of which you actually have a really nice view) and tells me they don't have and proceeds to walk off and on his way to shoot of I manage to tell him I would still like a coffee in any case - another insult to him fron the look on his face. Attached in the photos, my 6 euro coffee !!! You draw your conclusions if you would like to come here (unless you are Ameican, in which case you will probably have a nice time and don't even think...

Terrible food, terrible service and racist staff. Me and my 2 asian friends got a gelato and a drink and waited 20min for someone to get us our ice cream (ps the restaurant was NOT BUSY). Not only that, we were literally chased out of our seats 5min into sitting down and the old waiter straight up told us we cannot dine in because what we got was too cheap. Meanwhile, family of 6 sitting behind us (caucasian family) shared 1 gelato and were left alone perfectly fine. 5min after we agreed to leave after finishing our gelato and drink, old waiter once again shouted across the restaurant asking “You Done?!” and pointed to the exit. Mind you, the restaurant was 60% empty so we were not hogging onto seats and taking the chance to dine in away from others. Literally worst restaurant with the rudest staff that just felt like they were superior because they were the only restaurant at the top of Capri. Trust me, take that money and buy yourself a much better meal anywhere...
