Absolutely astonishing quality and product delivery from A. Gallo. I purchased the Mixing Set in the last restock and it arrived within the mentioned time limit to the UK from Italy in well protected packaging. The paints themselves are wrapped so beautifully it's almost a crime to take them out, thankfully you can slide the tin out of the gorgeous marbled paper they're wrapped in! Within the package itself also came free swatch and mixing colour charts, which was such a lovely bonus. As for the paints, well the quality and richness of them is simply breath-taking. So much so that I immediately ordered the Signature set from Jackson's Art Supplies here in the UK and another eight loose half pans! I have been overjoyed with the output of these paints on both cheapo swatch and practice cold press paper and on high quality 100%...

These are the best watercolor paints I’ve ever used. Very fluid washes, and beautiful mixing on the paper. They are luscious and a joy to paint with. I bought a 12 half pan pallet from Poggi art store in Rome, and am looking to get more. I usually use M.graham paints, due to the honey base, but they take forever to dry, and are not great for traveling. A. Gallo works so well, not just because of the beautiful color line of honey based watercolor, but because they are pan colors, they dry faster than tube honey based, reactivate easily and are great for travel. I will be buying a larger pallet of full pans soon, and will be switching to A.gallo as my primary watercolor paint brand. I’m so thankful they ship...

I’ve been a fan of A. Gallo watercolours for awhile and took advantage of my time in Assisi to visit the shop. The shop itself is absolutely beautiful and the staff very knowledgeable and passionate about the paints and origins of the pigments used. You can try the paints in the store and staff are available to help if needed.

I really appreciated that I wasn’t rushed to choose paints and that they made some suggestions on which colours to choose without being pushy or trying to upsell.
