"My friends and I had an amazing time at Matiti in Bari, Italy! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. But what really made our experience stand out was our server, Michelle. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. From recommending the perfect pasta dishes to refilling our drinks promptly, Michelle's service was top-notch.

The pasta dishes were creative and flavorful, and we loved the authentic Bari outdoor seating area. The drinks were reasonably priced, it was worth it for the great service and food.

We'd highly recommend Matiti to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Bari, and Michelle's exceptional service made it truly unforgettable. Grazie...

Terrible service. We left after 20 minutes of ignorance. The waitress came to ask if we wanted something to eat (after 10 minutes). I was going to tell her that we only want two glasses of wine and a sparkling water, but she left in the middle of my sentence and didn’t come back for the next 10 minutes or more. How rude! I felt like a ghost… What’s even more funny about that, she did manage all of the orders from three tables of people who came AFTER US. I can understand a busy day or lots of work, what I can’t understand is total ignorance. And this is exactly what we got here. Left after 20 minutes thirsty and angry. We were so excited to stop in at Matiti during our trip to Bari. We were seated by a very sullen waitress and after 45 minutes without so much as a glance in our direction, and despite repeated polite attempts to ask for at least water, we decided to leave. Extremely disappointed given the reviews, and that the food would likely have been worth it. We understand and appreciate that the pace of life in Italy is slower, and this is something we enjoy about our time here, but this level of service was not about a slow pace of life, but rather a complete lack of customer care.
