TOURIST TRAP. Came here on the last day of my Italy trip and seemed to have good reviews. Left feeling extremely disappointed and ended my trip on a sour note.
Service: as other reviews mention the staff need to work on their attitude. Our male waiter (older, short hair, skinny stature) was extremely rude over a small confusion I had with the menu. The menu states that pasta dishes when ordered on Saturday would need a minimum of 2 orders per table. I was there on a Monday and wanted to order 1 pasta. I tried to ask and clarify and he told me I needed to order 2. Clearly the waiter did not read the menu and was extremely impatient and was rushing me and other at my table to order. Due to the confusion I just decided to get something else, I asked for his recommendation and he was pissed. The waiter was rushing us and I asked if he could circle back and just start us with our appetizers as I continued to look at the menu. The waiter decided to take our plates and menus aggressively and ended up just ignoring our table. He then circled back and eventually told me I could do the 1 order of pasta.
Food: the food was extremely underwhelming. Again as other reviews mentioned the serving size left you feeling hungry. At our table we had order 1 regular pizza and 2 gluten free pizzas (due to celiac issues). The pizza was super disappointing literally looked like toppings just thrown on and had little to no sauce. The gluten free pizza was flat and looked like some store bought dough with how circular it was. Those with celiac ended up having stomach issues after the pizza. Really disappointing when it’s an extra €4 to get gluten free. As for my own order the serving sizes were small. The octopus salad was decent but nothing to cry home about. The spaghetti was so small the table next to us literally asked if that was everything and laughed. (Looking back at the photos provided it is genuinely a joke that they serve such a small amount of pasta for that price. Literally the serving size of a toddler. The plate is not deep so that little bit which is less then the size of a fist is really all you get lol.) The spaghetti flavour was meh and we had better at a different restaurant. The price of the spaghetti all'assassina was €12 so nothing too pricy but many other places close by have the same price and provide way more pasta and they even put stracciatella on the pasta.
Atmosphere: As other reviews have mentioned it is next to a bar and they blast their music so the vibe is mixed. The place seemed nice at first but ended up feeling like a huge tourist trap.
Overall: would not recommend. The reviews of the places does not match the experience. You’re better off asking a local for a recommendation or just walking over to the other restaurants...
Read moreWe arrived 1,5hour before closing (we didn't knew about this and they didn't warn us when we ordered). So we ordered our food. The aperol was really good. But what you can see here on the picture is supposed to be a "quatro formaggi" pizza. Barelly had cheese on it. It was basically a burned tortilla with tomato sauce. And when within 15minutes if us getting our pizzas the waiter came out with our bill and they started packing in the chairs around us. (All this happened 45minutes before the closing time written on their google page) It wasn't a pleasant experience at all. We were so excited cause the staff seemed nice, the people around us when we sat down seemed satisfied. But I got deeply disapointed. We haven't even...

Vivamente...
