If you want to experience a deep and concentrated immersion in the authentic Sardinian life essence and specific foods there is no better place than this… we’ve wasted time wandering around till we finally found this gem of a place which offers a perfect selection of cheeses and cured meats, fresh products and wide range of wines all on display in a cosy uncovered old brick and classic furniture interior design . Underneath the shop you can see through the glass floor the ruins of the old city …. Read moreWe had lunch in this most beautiful of all “typical shops”. Run by a couple whose English is slightly better than our non existent Italian. Between Google translate not connecting and me being a picky chappy (Google wouldn’t let me post my wife’s term) we finally got red & white wine, a sharing board and a couple of panadas (a small type of pie that we saw getting delivered as we’re negotiating the language barrier). He was so kind and knowledgeable about every item in the shop. They offer high quality authentic food & wine. The shop has glass floors featuring old ruins. It’s a magical place! The second day we scheduled a boat tour and picked up all of our snacks, he vacuumed packed an amazing assortment and made the trip truly unforgettable. 10/10...
