The place was recommended by our host for a good pizza so we gave it a try. The pizza is ok (depending which one you choose), the vegetarian salad as well; however the service is a joke and one of the worst I have ever encountered in a restaurant. I had the impression I was taking part in a comedy and not a good type of one. One of the waiters ruined the dress of my girlfriend by spilling olive oil on her dress. He was taking away the oil from the table after the appetizer, I don't know why, when 5 minutes later he brought it back for the salad. And then another waiter again dropped the olive oil for the second time to the ground. Luckily, this time no dress got hurt;) Ok, I understand that such things can happen but for e.g. the waiter should never come to the table when you still have pizza on the plate and beer in your glass and ask if he can take the plate asking in poor English "Are you finish?". Also we asked the waiter to bring the salads and the pizza together at one time which he understood perfectly because he repeated the order and then the pizza came 20 minutes after the salads. Also, once they bring you bread to the salad, the other time they don't, you never know. For the stained dress, no "refund", no "drinks on the house" whatsoever. Summing up, I bet there are better places in Cagliari with a good pizza and a more organized and professional staff. We are not coming back for sure because the atmosphere of a nice looking place is ruined by the people...
Read moreOne of the biggest disappointments in recent months. We ordered four pizzas – Diavola, two with octopus, and one with mortadella and pistachio – and every single one of them arrived cold. The Diavola was just barely acceptable, but the rest were a complete disaster. The mortadella pizza was folded in half like a calzone, without a word of explanation – clearly a cheap trick to save on ingredients. The octopus pizzas were a joke. Across two pizzas, there was maybe one tentacle in total, chopped into tiny pieces. Tough, tasteless, deep-fried in old oil – the whole thing tasted like a cold cheesecake with a token touch of seafood. The prices? Absolutely ridiculous for what you get. What we were served wasn’t worth even half of what we paid. The beer was sour, clearly from a keg that should have been replaced long ago. And the service… simply unacceptable. Instead of taking care of customers, the staff spent their time staring at people, making comments about how they look and behave, and gossiping about guests sitting at their tables. Rude, arrogant, and unprofessional beyond belief. A restaurant that pretends to have class but serves cold food and an even colder atmosphere....
Read moreExcellent throughout - pizza, beer, service, decor and value. The restaurant looked good, was very busy outside and the menu was reasonably priced. The only available tables were inside which was deserted. This was our good fortune and the start of an excellent meal. The air-conditioned interior was most welcome, spacious, calm and stylish. The restaurant only had 3 beers to choose from: a white, an IPA(?) and a red. All were locally brewed, craft beers. The IPA was truly outstanding with an intense hoppy taste. I chose the red as it was interesting and different to the real ales I am accustomed to. My wife, who rarely drinks beer, chose the IPA and I was very content to finish that off for her after my red. My mistake. She enjoyed it so much I was only able to get a few sips. This beer would easily win awards in the UK. To eat, I chose the Napoli pizza - excellent and the first time I have eaten fresh capers - delicious. For dessert I chose Tiramisu and my wife chose the rum baba. Which, as with the beers, had me choosing a very good one and my wife choosing an excellent one. It is the restaurant to revisit if / when we come back...
