I am surprised to see everyone renting a fancy car in the comments because we got an old Ford KA with 190,000 km (the rental price would be almost enough to buy the whole car), but we played it safe with full insurance and ended up paying 70 euros a day. The customer service is very good, at least when you check in with good recommendations. As for the check out, I will never forget the greedy and totally out of context attitude of Concita over a small difference in petrol, where she told me 20 euros would be necessary to cover the petrol difference on return. To which I said it would be a mere 5 to 10 euro extra charge, she promptly gave me the keys back in my hands and told me to go , restart the car and go get more petrol (right after telling us she understood our stressful return journey and lateless due to the immense traffic in Catania due to their marathon festivities) Overall this was not about the money! I paid the requested 20 Euros, but about the extremely rude attitude of giving me the keys back and telling me to go put 5 Euros of petrol to see if it would be enough to meet the agreed - I didn't think you were that kind of person, not after paying your extremely profitable company 700 euros and waiting over an hour to get a car, a commercial gesture would have been very appreciated and therefore this rating. For these prices you can rent at SIXT or other major car rental company and return the car at...
Read moreLong story short, we needed to book a rental car in Catania at the last minute for two days. My girlfriend and I didn't have a credit card—just cash and a debit card. I also drive an automatic, and finding one on short notice was nearly impossible in Catania. To make things more challenging, many of the rental agencies didn't speak much English.
Luckily, we stumbled upon this company on Google, and ended up not only finding a great rental but also making some new friends. We rented a brand-new Citroën C3 (I believe it was a 2023 model) for two days. The process was incredibly simple—no need for a credit card or even a debit card. We just followed their rules and policies, paid in cash, and we were set.
The car was in perfect condition and surprisingly fuel-efficient. We managed to explore Taormina, Naxos, Catania, and Mount Etna on just €30 of gas.
Concita, the manager, was an absolute sweetheart. She's not only a professional but also a genuinely lovely person. On top of that, she's a talented tour guide, recommending some fantastic places for us to visit. After we returned the car, Concita even treated us to coffee and gave us a ride to the airport. I've never experienced such outstanding service on any of my trips in Italy of somewhere else.
I highly recommend this company. Whenever I'm back in Catania, I’ll definitely rent from them again. And I owe Concita a cup of coffee! Truly the...

My partner and I were in Sicily for a week. We wanted to rent a car and went to the next rental. As it should turn out, we have probably found the best rental. The first time we were there spontaneously and we were lucky. A vehicle was available and we could start our excursion immediately after a short briefing. We also got tips on where to eat well in the evening. With this tip we found the best restaurant of the entire holiday. The second time, also spontaneously, we were lucky enough to get a car, but the Diesel Punto was a real bullhorn. Nevertheless, we were happy to get a vehicle on the spur of the moment. The next day we agreed on a vehicle for two days from now. This should then be a Fiat 500L and it was. A really great vehicle.
Looking back, we can say that not only the mobility but above all the really great tips were valuable. Much of what we liked, we would not have seen / enjoyed without the...
