We entered this place anticipating some great sea food, and left the premises with a nagging disappointment. We were the only 2 covers in the restaurant in the afternoon, non-busy hours and had to first wait for outrageously long to be attended to.
Further, we chose to switch salmon for sea bass, as they had run out of salmon. While this is not atypical, I understand that it is a common courtesy to inform the guests if the replaced item costs significantly more than the original item. We were surprised to see a difference of 20% in the final bill for a few silly bits of sea bass, as they charged for sea bass (weighed non-transparently to be 450 g) by weight.
When we finally tried to politely clarify the rationale behind the bill, the staff simply showed us some random item for some different section of the menu card to somehow justify the increased cost. When I further argued that the item they pointed to should come with sides as per their menu, the staff faced a collective confusion, murmured something in anger and just left us alone.
At that point, I suppose we were just courteous to have settled the bill for what it was.
I, however, would advise anyone visiting this place to be extra cautious and clear with what they...
Read moreHy guys! That’s my first time writing from my personal experience about something and someone. Firstly, my friend and I ordered some drinks. My choice was a glass of wine, which I really liked and his choice was a draught beer. The problem was that both drinks were completely hot 🥵. As soon as we took a sip I asked for little ice and a new cold, bottled beer. The waiter seemed like he doesn’t know English and we have been waiting around 20minutes for our purchase. Then we asked his college and finally he gave us what we needed. Secondly, we ordered 3 dishes - spaghetti with shrimps, octopus with patatoes and small fried squids. But suddenly they served us a salad with octopus, spaghetti with crab and a seasonal fish mix (which has a few squids in it). We ate everything because we were really hungry and we didn’t want to wait anymore. We also felt uncomfortable to make someone pay for it.. The spaghetties were uncooked but i can’t say anything bad about the other dishes.. The fish was fresh and the salad was well seasoned. I think the problem was because the staff don’t speak English (they cannot also understand you). Anyway, it has a very good location and...
Read moreNever the worst experience ever. My advice is that you should avoid being drown to this restaurant, because the servant and chef of that restaurant dont even know or pretend not knowing the authorized Credit cards(In fact you could only pay with American Express or Master Card and of course cash). Even though any of them will come to the street to say hello and say with inresponseble words in order to let you sit down in the Restaurant and cheat in the weight of fresh seafood with unreasonable price and bad cooking skill to make the fresh seafood(specially the grilled swordfish and other would be only fried) become a flavor like candle. The servants are all busy and you have to wait a grilled fish for 40 Mins? At last i brought only Maestro Card with me whose balance is absolutely positive. But cannot pay and i had to get back to my Hotel in foot for 1 km to take another Master Card. Before leaving the Restaurant they either asked me about the Hotel and passport or threathend with calling the police I paid with ultimately anger at cashier. Wish this friendly advice will help you avoid this evil Restaurant...
